A Flavor Experience at KYNN Âu

My wife and I stopped by KYNN Âu for lunch and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The space is on the smaller side, but it’s cozy, clean, and welcoming. We were seated immediately, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

We kicked things off with two of their signature drinks — the Lychee Rise Tea and the Soda Peach Tea — and both were absolutely delicious and refreshing. Easy 10/10 on the drinks.

For our starter (because my wife always says life’s too short to not have dessert first), we ordered the fried bananas with coconut ice cream. The bananas were fried perfectly — crispy on the outside and warm on the inside — and paired beautifully with the creamy coconut ice cream. Definitely a 9/10.

Next up were the Chicken Kumquat Wontons, which had a completely different flavor profile compared to traditional wontons. Personally, I preferred them without the kumquat, but my wife loved the citrus twist. We’d give those a 6/10 overall.

For entrées, we started with the Pineapple Crab Fried Rice, and it did not disappoint. Bold, savory flavors balanced perfectly with bright citrus notes from the pineapple — a solid 8/10.

Then came the dish I judge the most: Pad See Eww. It’s my all-time favorite. My favorite Thai restaurant unfortunately closed down, and I haven’t found anything close to it — until now. The flavor profile of this dish was the same, if not better. It brought me right back to the first time I had it years ago when I couldn’t stop eating. This one gets a 100/10 from me.

Our final entrée was the Khao Soi Chiang Rai, which came with side garnishes so you can customize it to your taste. The broth had a robust, complex depth of flavor — savory, comforting, and absolutely delicious. Another strong 8/10.

Overall, the experience was fantastic. Great service, flavorful dishes, and a cozy atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

You would not expect a restaurant like Kynn Nu in Loma Linda. The chef and team put so much care and love into their food, drinks, and overall an elevated guest experience, and it truly shows. I am so glad this place exists in the IE! It’s definitely a rare gem.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the fresh spring rolls, papaya salad (Thai style-vegan), crispy okra, garlic green beans, morning glory, jackfruit curry, pad thai boran, drunken noodle. All of their handcrafted drinks are unique and tasty too!! There hasn’t been one I didn’t like.

I am looking forward to coming back soon to try more curries and other signature dishes/drinks!! Thank you chef & staff!!!

This place is insanely underrated. If this were in central LA it would be booked out months in advance and have a James Beard award.
Truly impeccable service, attentive and sweet. Amazing atmosphere and presentation. Best food. I travel all over the country for work and find the best restaurants everywhere, and this place is one of the best restaurants in the US. And easily the best Thai food in America. I’ve had some very hyped and Michelin star Thai places and they do not compare to this place even remotely.
This place is even worth driving out from LA just to try.

This little intimate dining place is a gem. The food is super fresh and the menu items and drinks are unique. The service is outstanding. I highly recommend. The strawberries in my dish aren’t even in season but they tasted so fresh! The watermelon mojito was a delight. The flavors in the dishes are so divine!

This place is an utter delight.
A friend CJ and I came to check this place out because CJ has told me of the good reputation KynnNu has of their mocktails. The moment we stepped inside, I was taken aback by the quality of service, the kindness, and the care that was poured into every part of this cute cafe. It may seem small, but I pray it would grow well! This place is a hidden gem here in Loma Linda.

The plating made me feel like I want to dress up to come here! I was so grateful for the ways the food not only satisfied my hungry stomach but also brought such joy to look at and marvel!

A bit of what we ordered since CJ and I are banchan lovers – it’s a way to describe a love for a variety of different foods in the Korean culture

*Watermelon Mojito (ice) $7 – REFRESHING. It is a good mocktail to have at the end of a hearty meal.
*Passion fruit calamansi (ice) $7 – If you like Calamansi, this is the mocktail to go. Tangy.

*Pumpkin curry $17 – comes with blue rice where the color does not affect the quality of the rice, rather enhances the fun of the eating experience. They say pumpkin here but you can also say it is a *Kabocha squash 😉 This is one of my favorite vegetables! For it to be paired with the curry – what a delight.
*Sum Ru Set $19 (Tofu) – Tofu Slammers, Spicy eggplant, Blue sweet rice with Longan (there was lychee and the sweetness was not overpowering)
*Lui Suan Fresh Rolls $12 – Incredible spring rolls. I say incredible because of the freshness of the greens and all the ingredients are incredibly well balanced.

God bless you all!

This restaurant offers such a special dining experience with many vegan food options! The food is simple and delicious, and the food presentation is beautiful with small flowers and dainty tableware! We did find some of the drinks and food to be too sweet so thats something to keep in mind. There is indoor and outdoor (faces the main street so it is louder) seating. Highly recommend!

This is a five-star restaurant that honestly deserves six.

What a surprise to find in Loma Linda such an extraordinary place. While visiting the area, it didn’t seem like a particularly strong food destination — which made discovering this restaurant even more special. This is not only truly authentic Thai food, but Thai cuisine taken to the next level: creative, refined, and impeccably presented.

The service was fantastic. The chef even came out to ask if we enjoyed our meal, which says a lot about the pride and care behind this place.

We ordered the special set, which included a main dish, rice, and dessert, and everything was excellent. We also had the chicken dumplings, which were delicious. The banana blossom soup was extraordinary — deeply flavorful and beautifully balanced.

If this restaurant were in New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles, there would be lines around the block. Yet here it is, quietly shining in San Bernardino.

We also tried some of the signature drinks. I’m usually not a fan of “fancy” cocktails, but these were genuinely impressive. One had pandan and tasted like toasted coconut heaven. Another was served with a burning cinnamon stick — a full sensory experience.

The space is small and very pleasant, with just a few tables, and plenty of convenient parking. We ended up eating here multiple times during a short visit because it was that good.

Congratulations to the chef and team for maintaining such high quality, creativity, and consistency in this area. A true gem.
