With great excitement and pleasure we like to announce the opening of Ingrid’s Chicharrones, a place where we look to serve our costumers amazing and delicious Spanish food along with great experiences for everyone to enjoy. It is a dream come true and with its realization we want to create an unmatchable authentic Latin food taste for all of you. Our official opening day is September 13 at 3 pm. Attached you will find our menu. Once again thanks to all of you who contributed with their support, direction, and advice on this new venture.

LET ME TELL YOU!!!! Whewwww!!!!! This place is a lil piece of love because not only is the food so fire so is the service and the woman who makes the food, you can tell she makes it with love !!!!! I’m thankful to finding this place food, service and FRESH!!! You will have to be a bit patient but is elite food ! Trust me when I tell you go and try it ! I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Ingrid Chicharones three times now, and each visit has been consistently outstanding. It’s not easy to find a place that delivers both incredible flavor and affordable prices, but Ingrid Chicharones does exactly that every single time.
The food is absolutely delicious — rich, authentic, and clearly made with care. My personal favorite is the Mofongo de Chicharrón, and it never disappoints. It’s perfectly seasoned, packed with flavor, and incredibly satisfying. If you’re not sure what to order, trust me — this is the one!
The empanadas are crispy and flavorful, the alcapurrias are perfectly prepared, and the sancocho is hearty and comforting — like a warm hug in a bowl. Everything tastes fresh and homemade.

We were on our way to Pure Terror Scream Park from NJ. We found this dominican spot. Their food is high quality and the atmosphere is friendly. When we come up here definitely stopping by. Its like looking to your favorite aunts place.

While visiting my daughter in Chester, NY, we were deciding where to go for lunch around 1:00 PM. She asked me to check Yelp, and I’m genuinely glad I did. After reading the reviews on Yelp and Google, it was clear this place was something special. About a 20-minute drive later, we arrived at Ingrid’s Chicharrones, and we were immediately welcomed by Ingrid herself, which made us feel right at home.
The space is small and simple, but don’t let that fool you, the food and hospitality more than make up for it. Ingrid truly lives up to her reputation as a one-woman powerhouse. She runs the place with care and efficiency, and it shows in the quality of the food. Everything came out fresh and absolutely delicious.
I ordered the mofongo with pork belly, and it was outstanding, so good I was already craving more after finishing it. A quick tip: half a pound of pork belly sounds like a lot, but it’s not, so if you really want to enjoy it, go for the full pound. No regrets.
One small downside: the place was very cold during our visit. They do have portable heaters, but it was still noticeably chilly. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
This is the kind of place you remember and look forward to returning to. Every time I visit my daughter from Atlanta, GA, this will be a must-stop. If you’re looking for authentic Dominican food made with care and heart, this place delivers.

Bathrooms are NOT working. Although they are in a high volume successful business that’s a “-1 star” for me.
Overall inside the restaurant is clean, quiet and moderately comfortable.

Menu is still a to-go handout paper menu which indoor sitting menu could be provided.

I visited this place to try them out. I’m very glad that I did. Having this type of food available this far from the city is a huge perk. The location was very clean and presentable. The dining area looked neat and appeared well kept.
I ordered some chicharron with tostones, and it was perfect. Not salty or over seasoned. Fresh and just the right amount.
I also ordered roast pork with cheese mofongo. The mofongo was soft and very flavorful. The fried cheese complemented the mofongo very well and added a softness to the mofongo that created a nice texture.
We also had a chicharron mofongo that did not disappoint. They had a hot bar with some items ready for serving.
They also had a nice variety of drinks both to serve and bottled.
One constructive comment I would like to make is that I would like to eat my meal in other than paper plates. I feel it would bring more elegance and class to the place if non paper plates and non plastic silverware were used. This was a bit distasteful.
Nonetheless, the food taste and quality were amazing, and I was greatly satisfied. I highly recommend and will be back again to try more of the menue.
