Everything was wonderful! Our steak was cooked to perfection, very flavorful and tender. The cheese board was super good. My salad was wonderful. You can tell they are using higher end ingredients. Our server was very competent and very friendly and sweet. It was a little cold in the restaurant but they had space heaters, which was really nice. The only thing I would say is, I wish they would turn the lights down just a tad.

This is a great place for a nice dinner! My husband always gets his steak cooked to order (as rare as possible) and I always enjoy the scrimp scampi or pasta primavera add shrimp. The tots side is large and tasty. Oysters are always flavorful and delicious. Nice beer and wine selection. Serve is great. We’ve been here a handful of times and never disappointed.

Great food, great staff, great owner, great atmosphere! This is the best restaurant around. They have a nice selection of wines and local ciders/beers and really good food. It’s my favorite restaurant in all of Humboldt County

We had very wonderful dinner in Redwood Palace.
The staffs were very nice. The ribeye was amazing. The ribs were good too but unfortunately they were short of ribs so we got half of the pork instead.
We definitely will visit this place next time when we travel to here.

We ate early, 530 pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was uncrowded – the waitress said that inflation, rising gas prices and weed legalization have badly hurt their business. We had oysters, the large charcuterie platter, shrimp and vegetables stir fry, and shrimp scampi. All were well prepared with good quality ingredients. This place is a lovely find in a remote and beautiful area.

This place is a little off the beaten path, but well worth finding. We loved the atmosphere and the service was 1st class. Excellent selection of local beers and wine. It’s going to be a regular stop for us in the future. I don’t give 5’s very often, but this place was a FIVE.

This place was FANTASTIC! We were passing through on a Friday Night and decided to stop in. We had the steak special and the shrimp scampi appetizer. Both were PERFECT. Maya was our on point waitress; never hovering but detailed and attentive.

This restaurant is home to the best steak I have ever had! If you are even halfway thinking about going here stop reading this review and go now! Get the ribeye steak and you can send me a thank you card later. Also, the smoked duck on the charcuterie board is divine! I love to sample different local eateries while on vacation. Seldom does a place warrant eating at multiple times on the same vacation. We ate here twice and I personally will dream about the day that I can eat here again. The service and atmosphere are also excellent. Seriously, stop reading this, you are missing out on one of the best dining experiences of your life!!!

My wife and I were excited to eat here on our anniversary trip. We got oysters, Cajun catfish and shrimp scampi. The catfish was a special. The oysters were very good, nothing was wrong with those. The local beers were also great. The entrees, not so much. My shrimp scampi was overloaded with everything other than shrimp and pasta. Too much oil, too much garlic (which doesn’t seem possible,) and too much dried parsley. The pasta was also just slightly overcooked. The only thing more disappointing about the flavor of my dish was the idea that I had to pay $30 for it. My wife, who worked in the food industry for 15 years, said the catfish was cooked properly but that the flavor tasted as if whoever cooked it had never tasted Cajun food before. It was smothered in a sauce that did not look appetizing and apparently didn’t taste great either. Also her broccolini had not been cleaned properly and her tater tots (they ran out of mashed potatoes) were greasy all the way through. I thought the service was good though, right up until the waitress asked my wife if she’d like another beer and then never brought it. We did not bother staying for dessert because we’d had enough disappointment after a lovely day in Eureka.
