Simply the best. Literally the standard by which other bakeries should be judged. If you ever purchase treats at another bakery, the quality should be based on the Manninos scale. Example: ” How was that cupcake? It was about half as good as Manninos. “

I have been going to Mannino’s for…17 years. The treats have always been amazing. The staff has always been friendly. But today. The service knocked my socks off. I went in knowing very well I was going to be that annoying customer needing multiple boxes for separate homes (I wanted to surprise a few people with goodies) but Mayla (not sure if I spelled that right) but just an absolute delight and didn’t seem bothered by my chaotic order at all. She was sweet and very helpful. She got everything wrapped up and even offered to label the boxes to help me avoid figuring it out later. I work as a customer service manager so and know how hard it is to find that type of kindness so thank you Mayla for bringing some sunshine to my day.

The tiramisu parfait was probably a 3/5. It didn’t taste much like tiramisu but it was still decent! I liked the chocolate cheesecake a lot. My friend got the eclair and said the filling was delicious!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Mannino’s Bakery in Troy. I ordered my daughter’s first birthday cake and was told it would be ready for pickup at 10:00 AM. When I arrived, there was no cake—the order was never completed, and no one followed up with me.
Cakes aren’t cheap, especially for a milestone like a first birthday, so this was incredibly stressful and upsetting. To make matters worse, the cake decorator blamed me, saying “why didn’t you keep calling back?” instead of taking responsibility. That response was unprofessional and unacceptable.
They also did not have the snowflake decorations that were supposed to be part of her cake.
Save yourself the time, stress, and energy—go somewhere else.

My favorite bakery! Get the mini cannolis w chocolate chips, mini lemon pies, and the butter choc chip cookies. The cookies are the best bc it’s a doughy soft moist cookie that’s not too sugary to where you can eat a box of them.

Manninos is the best. I drive 52 miles 1 way to get the Cassata Cakes for occasions and Cannoli. Others have tried to duplicate but no one can touch the quality and flavors of Manninos. They specialty cupcakes are a fan favorite of our grandkids!

Mannino’s lives up to their “#1 in Michigan” fame… we had tried to order a cake from another bakery with only 3 days to spare but were told we had to actually walk in to do so. Unfortunately, that’s nearly an hour away, so we really needed someone in the area of our event that could take an order by phone and keep the cake in a cooler until just prior. Mannino’s not only took the order, but created the most lovely cake for our granddaughter’s baptism. It turned out even more beautiful than anticipated, was tasty, baked perfectly, and very reasonably priced. We couldn’t ask for more… thank you Mannino’s!

Bought a banana cream pie, wasn’t cheap. Where’s the bananas? My slice had ONE sliced piece of banana. I will never return here. Our cannollies were very thick and tough. This use to be a premier bakery. Must have been sold to different bakers.
