3 of us Visited on a Monday. GREAT cold beer in a frosty fish bowl was the goal and we got it. The food was fine. We had the blue gill – tasty but the corn sticks were dry and not that great. The creamy coleslaw was fine but not memorable. We also had the Stromboli with fries – again good but not amazing. The place is in need of a deep clean and a spruce up. I’d definitely go back for a frosty beer!

Food is delicious and Emily N was super attentive and all of us in the party of 8 were well served. I will be back!

For appetizers I had Fried Mushrooms, Fried Pickles and Fried Catfish and for the main coarse I had the port steak!! I everything was delicious.

Knob Hill is my new favorite pizza place. I got some takeout the other day. I had the Reuben sandwich and fries and my girlfriend had a small pepperoni, mushrooms, onion, and green peppers pizza. The Reuben sandwich was excellent and the fries were thick with good seasoning. My girlfriend let me try her pizza and I was really surprised how good it was. Nothing on it tasted frozen or processed. I think their pizza is better than Turonis. IMO

We just got here. Drove 2 hrs.
The atmosphere feels great. I ordered REAL Bluegill. Many places lie and tell you it’s real knowing it isn’t. My brother in law got the Fried Chicken dinner.
My wife ordered the Roast beef over gravy and Imitation Potatoes. Wife said it had gravy which made it good. I didn’t care for it.
Everyone really enjoyed the food we ordered. So, TWO UP. Glad we came.
Note to owners. People come for good food not instant potatoes on “just Sundays”.

Cool place to visit. Clean and friendly. Not a ton of seating so I would recommend calling ahead. Everyone’s meals were pretty good, and fairly priced. The “hot fiddler” they specialize in was ok. It’s a whole fried catfish (or two). The PO boy was good as was the fried chicken. For appetizers we got catfish curls and kraut balls. The kraut balls are sour kraut and cheese filled deep fried balls. I enjoyed those the most.

Updated review 12/14/23… The food was cold and the service was bad. The hostess sat us promptly which was nice but from that point onward everything else was bad. What is most disappointing is that the restaurant wasn’t even busy.

Great food and great environment. Extremely generous sized catfish fiddlers!

Cozy, charming, a little loud, but fun tavern. The food was excellent as was the service. If you eat outside, the dining area is delicateful, but can be annoying when the flys are in season. The Reuben sandwich and fried mushrooms are excellent.

Two tenderloins with fries and slaw was $37. The tenderloin sandwi ches had no flavor and the slaw had a strong vinegar taste. Very disappointed with food quality.

We ordered the garlic toast and it was really good. The boneless catfish filet was also really good. My son loved their cheese pizza as well.

I was told to come here and try their must have catfish filets. After a few bites I noticed a sour taste in the filet. I then peeled back the skin to notice a sour smell and a noticeable brown filet. I explained to the manager “Arron” which he proceeded to show his debating side and saying brown catfish is normal.
After this conversation I was granted an (5.00) off a 17.00 dollar filet. Unfortunately I’ll be continuing to eat at finish where the catfish is not brown and also better quantity for your buck. (And when I asked the server to provide how to spell the managers he told her something that made her distressed and she came back with idk and I’m sorry. Fortunately we have the tinfish here in Newburgh that has absolutely amazing and fresh catfish for a better price. Thanks Arron for the terrible experience on trying this place for the first and last time
