This place never disappoints! We were here with friends, four adults, for a catch-up lunch. The food was definitely a level up from most lunch menus in the area. Our selections were: farmhouse salad, grilled cheese, Brick House chicken bowl, and Brick House burger. Each selection was delicious and filling! Our service was top drawer, and the atmosphere was terrific too. Prices are commiserate with the food and service we received.Highly recommend if you are in the white Bear Lake area!

One time late lunch (2pm) visit and the food was delicious!! Half full restaurant and <15min wait for table and quick orders to food delivered nice and hot, at the same time. Bella was our waitress and she was so kind to accommodate to a diet without blinking an eye. Decent lighting, bottle neck water in the table, cloth towels, burgers cooked to your liking and juicy even the well done one. Staff were seen cleaning the kitchen hoods and surfaces quite well here. Whatever cheese they use is so creamy. The chicken sandwich wow so much flavor! House cut fries were with great homemade flavor no ketchup needed you will gobble them up! The Rishi tea is enough for 4 people really and do wish it could be sold by the cup rather than pot, though I did drink half of it trying not to waste it. Fresh bagged herbs is Rishi brand. Fresh pressed lemonade was good as well. A little pricey yet on the meals - average size plates of food. Would recommend and come back when in the area again. A group of 3 meals and 3 beverages will cost >$100 if dining here.

Great service and Great food. I had the beet panzanella salad with a side of salmon for a business lunch. It was fantastic! The Brickhouse never disappoints. SO good!!!

I booked a table online which was confirmed immediately. We showed up a little early for our reservation and it didn’t take them long to get us seated. It was our anniversary and we had spent the whole day celebrating and eating so we weren’t terribly hungry when we came here. However, they had a really intriguing special that I couldn’t turn down. It was a mix of vegetables in a green curry, served with a side of purple sticky rice that comes in a cute little basket to keep the moisture in. It’s honestly brilliant! You can just throw whatever into a curry but the squashes and root vegetables really brightened up the curry flavor. I’ll have to remember to do this with my leftover veggies next time. The curry was a tad too sweet but the sticky rice was a nice accompaniment to break that up. My hubby got a pastrami sandwich which he really enjoyed. Perfect amount of juicy, flavorful meat, quality melted cheese, crispy bread. Our only thing is that the portions are GIGANTIC! We probably wouldn’t have finished our meal even if we had come with empty stomachs. But alas, we’ve got lunch ☺️ The tuna block appetizer was delicious. Use the crispy rice paper as a cracker. Highly recommend! Expect to have leftovers!

This is one of our favorite local spots! We normally go for the salads (they are superb), but this last time we went, I ordered the tuna bowl. Highly recommend! Service is always great

We can’t wait to come back! We were gifted a generous certificate for a very special occasion. Jakob was our amazing waiter! Since we ordered several dishes, he had the sauces put on the side so they would be fresh the next day- how thoughtful. The chicken in a biscuit was an eye brow raiser- flavorful with a generous portion of chicken. The house salad was beautiful with a variety of fresh veggies- marinated grape tomatoes, shaved vegetables and topped with an Italian bacon, yum. The BBQ Korean bowl was delicious- generous portion. Hamburger was fresh and not a bit salty- for dessert we had the Belgium chocolate cake in a glass. Not sweet but oh so flavorful- a must. The vibe was great and it was so clean! Big smiles still thinking about it.

The menu selection was so good it made it really difficult to choose. I went with a poke rice bowl and if I’m being honest, it didn’t live up to the hype. The ingredients were oddly portioned and all squished into a little bowl – although it was presented neatly – it was really quite difficult to fork and eat without making a mess. We were there for the brunch/lunch menu and others in my group had more breakfasts items.that looked good, too!
A.litrle pricey for what you get, but the atmosphere is great. Our server was not very attentive, but we didnt require too much attention. It would’ve been nice to get water refills and the bill in a timely manner, but perhaps she was busy. Who knows. Id fo again, but maybe for a burger.

Best experience here is dinner on the rooftop patio in warmer months. They have a nice indoor space as well though. The brunch/lunch menus are more limited than the dinner menu but still have some solid options, esp. Japanese milk bread french toast and Brickhouse chicken sandwich. Signature Brickhouse chicken entree is great choice for dinner, and I also really like the Bucatini with a generous amount of mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto, though the pasta offering seems to change occasionally. I’ve also had a few bites of the Panang curry and thought it was surprisingly good for non-Thai restaurant. Solid drinks menu as well, with a lot of great Minnesota and international beers, a creative selection of cocktails that dining companions have told me they’ve enjoyed, and a sizeable wine list. I would say there isn’t anything specific that Brickhouse really excels at (though their signature Brickhouse chicken is a standout imo), but everything I’ve tried has been quite good, they have a great atmosphere on the patio and a good atmosphere inside, and they have a dinner menu that is nicely varied and doesn’t feel restricted or bloated, all of which adds up to a consistently good experience in my opinion.

There are limited gluten free options here, especially for a place advertising that they have gluten free options.

The table we were at was oddly placed and staff kept coming halfway to our table and then turning around and going back to the kitchen. It’s was very awkward and distracting. I could hear the conversations of every table around us and I didn’t want to. And, despite having a space heater in the corner, the place was COLD.

The food was okay. I had the Southwest breakfast bowl. Instead of being spicy, it was sweet… And bland. I understand it’s the Midwest so ketch is spicy but I clearly have a different idea about what “Southwest” means than the restaurant.

Staff knew how to answer questions for food allergies and that’s always a plus… For what it’s worth, their fryers are not safe and they do quite a bit of battered frying according to the server.

Your mileage may vary but I would prefer to skip this place in the future.

Brought family here for brunch expecting a holiday-worthy experience at a nicer restaurant. Our server was kind and attentive, but the food was extremely disappointing. The breakfast burrito was completely bland – no seasoning at all, not even salt and pepper. The avocado toast was soggy. The dishes were poorly presented, and the overall experience felt dull. Our server even acknowledged that the lack of seasoning was an issue. For $22 per plate, the food should be flavorful, thoughtful, and visually appealing. Given the price point, I would not recommend this place for brunch!
