We went to Boones Pickens looking for BBQ and decided to order their special — roast with carrots and new potatoes, with green beans and a roll. I added corn pudding, and also had their peach cobbler. Fantastic food, wonderful service and a very comfortable atmosphere. Quite a few patrons ordered takeaway, but I recommend eating in house. We sat in one of the booth tables.

Comfort. That is what we needed, and Boones offered us the warmest comfy atmosphere, and our meal was tender, delicious, and satisfying.
We were at the end of a long day in the middle of a trying experience, away from our home, staying nearby.
We had driven over to try another place, which was closed, and we were working on our plan B when, like little moths to a flame, we were drawn into the warm light from Boones.
We walked in with curiosity and an open mind, not knowing a single detail about the place.
We slid into the thick wooden booth and within a few seconds we had icy cold drinks and our order was placed.
We spent just a few minutes processing our day, and our food arrived.
Farmer got burnt ends, I chose brisket. Both were amazing.
Apart from the beef, the corn pudding is a star. Would have to buy it by the gallon if we lived here.
Our server was wonderful, giving us the perfect combination of attention and solitude.
We will be back, every time we visit!

By far the best bbq I’ve had. Cute little place, feels almost like having dinner at somebody’s house, incredibly friendly people, you can tell the chef is passionate about what he does, and the food was so incredible. The burnt ends melt in your mouth, the hot links were proper thick sausages, and heck even the baked beans had onion and peppers mixed in.
We will definitely be back.

Food and service are excellent! The owner served up the best bierock I’ve had in the region. It was lunchtime, my first time there, and the entire experience has been great.

I took my meal to go but I must say the ribs are thicker with meat than a lot of places and the sides are a good portion along with the cornbread.

We were very pleased with this restaurant for our family of 6. We stopped in late, around 7:30 pm and they were sold out of several items, but we all had a great meal with excellent service. The brisket was amazing!! Cole slaw was awesome too. Would definitely recommend stopping here for a great home cooked meal.

I just walked out and it was amazing. We stopped for dinner mid drive to Oklahoma and I didn’t have much, but what I did have was amazing! The blueberry comblar and pulled pork was amazing and the owner was really friendly and talkative which I love! I’m definitely gonna come back here when I can. 10/10, would recommend!

It’s a small family owned BBQ spot I’ve ate there plenty of times.
The food is always delicious and service is awesome. I highly Recommend them if in Andover Area. You won’t be disappointed. I love the wood carved seating and tables. And always playing old school TV sitcoms on the tv while waiting & eating.
