I’m not in the restaurant business but I don’t understand why you would turn down customers because it’s 10:45 am and they want breakfast but you stop serving at 10:30. What’s the difference between frying an egg at 10:30 vs 10:45? Come up with all the reasons you want but you are still turning down a sale. That’s why so many businesses close down because you haven’t figure out how not to turn down customers. How can frying an egg screw up your kitchen? Lost my business-good thing I don’t run my business that way.

Came to Bowie for a sporting event and when I travel, I always try to find small businesses that I can’t anywhere else. Unfortunately this one was disappointing overall. It’s only drive thru so if they make a mistake, you’re either stuck with it or you drive back. So be sure to check your order before you drive away from the window.
The good. Reasonably priced and they are fast service. Located conveniently across from Allsups on business 81 so it’s easy to find the little yellow building. Veggies felt and tasted like they’re prepped daily so there’s no soggy texture.
The bad, there’s a few. Don’t except hot food. Not sure if this is there business plan or their hot wells aren’t working correctly. The spiced chicken they use has a great subtle warmth to the flavor but it was dried out and was pretty cold to the touch. If you order a soft taco, be prepared to peel the tortilla off the paper wrapping. Best guess is they warm the tortillas in advance and leave them in a steam well. This causes the tortilla to sweat and want to stick to paper, maybe switch to wax paper or aluminum foil. But why preheat ready to serve tortillas? They only take 10 seconds each side to warm up on a flat top.
The beef taco salad, good portion size and taco shell cooked perfectly. Ground beef cooked well but lacked flavor. When you think ground beef tacos, you think instant savory taste with a delectable pepper finish. Neither of these are present in their ground beef. Refied beans that is used taste like the canned beans you find on aisle 5 in Walmart. There’s always a debate on what cheese to use, cheddar or a monterrey jack bland, I prefer the latter but I will be happy with cheddar as well. But they’re a little stingy on the cheese portion for a taco salad. Not asking for a monster amount but just a bit more.
Although the girl was friendly and upbeat, she doesn’t do well with customer service. I asked for no sour cream on my food, there was sour cream on both items. I made the mistake of not saying easy ice while at the box but figured I could say it at the window. When I asked for easy ice for my Dr Pepper at the window, she replied “It’s already made.” I wasn’t asking her to remake a coffee or a long Island tea, it was a fountain drink. Not hard to get another cup, add a little ice, pour the majority of Dr Pepper from the first cup to the new cup, and then top it off.
I would recommend the Allsups across the street or the sonic that 2 blocks away.

If you hate it when people use seasoning in food and enjoy salsa from a jar, Zippy’s is your new favorite bland breakfast taco place. Service was prompt and friendly and pricing was fair, but the best I can say about the food is that it was edible.

Drive up only! I highly recommend this drive thru. I have never got sick, or even had heart burn after eating here. Even after the food sits 2 hours before I can eat it. And try their Caramel Mashiato! Seattle coffee! It is awesome!!! A real Gem in the grass, of a Mexican food menu with value. I laugh at these people lined up at Mc Donald’s eating junk, while this place is empty in the evenings

Went here this morning for breakfast burritos. Was givein breakfast tacos instead. Thay where not made the way I ordered my burittos. When I went back the young lady working was rude told me thay was no longer serving breckfast after I bought breakfast 10 mins prior. Was told thay no longer had the the stuff ready to make breakfast and that the prices changed. Witch makes these small breakfast tacos $4.33 was told I could get a refund and that was it. Do better zippy’s and dont treat ur customers poorly when requesting something fixed that was your fault. I will after this encounter today.

This place is a step below gas station food and it is considered a “restaurant”. If you like cold, straight from the can beans on a sopping wet tortilla, this is your spot. If only someone in this restaurant knew how to use a griddle to properly heat food and sear a burrito, they might have a better chance.
