We are a Texas Style Barbeque located in Atlantic Beach, Florida. We take great pride in slow smoking the highest quality cuts of meat in our custom-made Moberg Smokers, using only wood to ensure a great smoke. We are the only BBQ restaurant in Jacksonville to solely use prime graded brisket which is the top 2% of all briskets in the US. Our House Made Sausage, Smoked Turkey and Pork Shoulders also come from the highest graded cuts of meat. We have hand crafted cocktails and a long list of beer and wines that pair excellently with our menu. Sit back, chill out and have a great time. Had a good time and great food last night. Sat inside and our server was great. Owner came out and introduced himself. Very nice. Got the wings for starters and they were really incredible, the Brisket and Brussel Sprouts were delicious. My fiancé ordered the Chicken Sandwich and loved it. Will come back for the wings alone

ABBQ BARBEQUE. Crazy, stupid great BBQ. I came for the brisket… But the turkey is awesome. And the ribs are maybe the best I ever had. Fall off the bone great The sides are also great. Can’t believe I didn’t try these guys sooner. Beaches best no doubt… And maybe the best in Duuuval.

The food is decent, nothing special especially for the price. Service was pretty slow, though nice people. The ribs taste like they’re only smoked for a few hours before moved to the oven and the pulled pork was quite dry. The collard greens were definitely the highlight of the meal, very good. The bread pudding was a disgusting soup, I do NOT recommend it at all. Overall, this place isn’t worth the heafty price and you can definitely get better bbq for a better price somewhere else.

The A stands for Awesome. What a great place. I judge BBQ based on brisket and they knock it out of the park. It’s up there with the best. Great service and ambiance too. They have sweet beans and cowboy beans. We got the sweet beans ans they were a little spicy, but I’m okay with that. The Mrs. and I had a real good time. They even gave us an enormous beef bone to take home to the pooch!

The food is always outstanding here. I was with 4 others and everyone enjoyed their meals. We started with the burnt ends which was perfectly seasoned. I had the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit, my daughter had the brisket sandwich, my son had the breakfast skillet, my husband had the smoked meat Benedict and my cousin had the breakfast burger. I only have pictures of my dish, my husbands and daughters dish everyone dug in before I could get pictures – it was that good.

I like the fact it has outdoor bar seating and outdoor tables. I don’t like taking an entire table since I travel for work and eat out solo when working sometimes I feel like the bar is perfectly fine. I tried to look at the menu but they had me at tacos…….. definitely worth the $13 for a brisket and a pulled pork. I would have paid more just don’t inform them!
The tap selection is enough that it will make you wonder why you’re thinking about having a third kid so you can only disappoint two.

Came here to celebrate a birthday and sat on the patio. It was hot, but we were a large group, so outside was the best option. The fans were turned on and helped with the heat. I decided on the fish tacos that were on the specials menu. I was curious about the potato casserole, and it was delicious! It was like a hash brown casserole, which I loved. Overall, our waitress was great and helpful, especially since there were a lot of us and many orders.
