We have been ordering To-Go from Wong Kok for many years. They always come through with great food and service. Our favorites are Orange Chicken, Crispy Beef, Hunan Chicken, Combo Lo Mein, Pork Lo Mein, Green Beans, Spring Rolls, Combo Fried Rice, Chicken and Broccoli, Sweet and Sour Pork, etc. Nothing is ever drowning in sauce or too sweet (if you like it wet, say something). Portions are generous and great bang for your buck. I’ve heard they have the best house mustard in the area, if you’re in to that sort of thing. We normally order about 8-10 entrees for 12 people and just about clean up. Double down on the Orange Chicken and Crispy Beef 🙂 Parking is easy, getting in and out of South Riding is easy too. Our food is always prompt as we order ahead and pick up ourselves.

The food isn’t bad, but nothing that I would crave to have. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls, crab rangoon, and the triple delight soup. The spring rolls were crispy, but not that flavorful, the crab rangoon was just way too sweet for me. Not sure why there is a need to add sugar to the cream cheese mixture! The soup was good, but overloaded with huge broccoli florets which I didn’t even eat, but that was the one meal I liked the most. I may or may not order from this restaurant again since I know there is much better Chinese food out there.

This place is a ripoff. Because of the holidays they choose not to honor their lunch special even though it’s within the Monday through Friday as advertised.it doesn’t say lunch special unless it’s a holiday.. they are price gouging. They don’t even celebrate the holiday yet they’re ripping off loyal customers to make more money despite advertising specials. I’m never ordering from this place again.

I ordered General Tsos chicken and it was so hard and not tasty at all. Tasted like chemicals and plastic, thought I was literally eating plastic based on the texture! The chicken also tasted so old and felt like they just gave me left out food that was left over yesterday. Crab Rangoons was also not good and was burnt. Disgusting, never eating here again! Beware!

Funny name aside. The place is consistent with its food. The Hunan chicken/beef/shrimp are good. Beef chow fun is good, especially with house chili oil. The shrimp toast is generous with the shrimp. Eggrolls and spring rolls are both good.

Update: I ordered here again last night and they deserve more nice words. Food is amazing like usual. It always comes fast, hot, and fresh. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant by far! Thank you for making a stressful night a little better. Yummy!!! My favorite is the Peking duck. Skin is crispy and meat is so tender. The crab ragoons are also to die for everything is always wonderful
This place is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever ordered from. The portions are amazing, delivery is fast ( you would think that they read your mind for your order), and the food is amazing. Crab Rangoons are always full! Order here you won’t regret it. This is from a credible Asian! Ha

Pricey, but good. Not salty at all, flavors are good and well done!! I’m s picky eater as you can see from my reviews. This one I approve. Wish it was cheaper so if u use their coupons, it’s pretty fair. $49 for 4 orders but free combo fried rice which had a good size shrimp.

Rice is the worst tasting Wongkok has ever served. They used to serve Jasmine rice and now to this lowest type of variety. Cost savings not worth it for me.

I recently moved to the South Riding area and had tried several chinesse restaurants around until I found Wong Kok, the taste of the food is very special, just perfect not too much spices, no strong taste it is really good.
I usually try bone spareribs, Yong Chow Fried Rice and vegetable chow main.

Stopped by ordered pad thai and orange chicken. The pad thai was not what I would call pad thai and it was not great a little gummy. The orange chicken was very good. The basil rice was bland. The szechuan beans were not spicy. Not sure I would go back. The wait staff was friendly and attentive but I want tasty food.
