Went in for a pick up order for my parents so they didn’t have to drive. I got there and was told they are just waiting on the medium pizza. I’m waiting and watching and the taller young man is touching everything including the phone and cash and pos system with the same gloves on so I asked him if he wanted to change his gloves in the nicest way after touching all that and 20 min of me watching him touch it all. He did n I was like thank you so much but then the lady comes up and says oh sorry I thought you already got your food n grabs food that had just been sitting there. Waste of 30 min glad I’m not eating it

My daughter’s favorite pizza place had changed owners earlier this year and it hasn’t been the same. Been trying out many other pizzas around town and seeing as we order from here 5+ times a month, looks as though we have a new go to spot. Happy to have found this gem on the east side.

First off, I was greeted with a lovely smile and cheery “hello.” I was picking up a large order for a party and the pizzas were all ready to go right on time. Jared timed everything perfectly. Then he even helped me load them all in my truck. I’m so impressed by the wonderful customer service. The pizzas were all hot and fresh and made everyone so happy. Thank you.

Big shout out to Dakota at Great Alaska Pizza’s DeBarr location. So glad a friend recommended them. My phone order was ready in 10min, less than half the time another place quoted. Pizza smelled and looked FABULOUS, toasty warm, just the right amount of browning on top and crust. Toppings were carefully spread out, not just thrown on. Slices were even too. Dakota noticed one of the box corners was slightly crumpled, asked if I wanted a replacement. I declined, but really appreciated his attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
I told him this was a thank you gift – Supreme pizza for Supreme service! We chatted for a few minutes about the organization it was going to. I was very impressed with the warm and friendly attention he gave me during his lunch rush. He said he was having a good day, that rainy weather is pizza weather , so I reluctantly let him get back to work.
Recipient was QUITE excited to see whose pizza I showed up with. My thanks to Dakota for making a whole office happy today!

Over three hours from order to delivery. Ordered around 4:30 pm, and the estimated delivery was 5:30pm (ish). After 6pm, I had to call and see what was happening. Over an hour later, called, and the rep said he delivered it, which was delivered to the wrong address (couple houses down). Food was ICE cold. Will not be ordering again.

We came in for pizza early this week and liked it so much that we went back today (just a couple days later)and my oh my, YUM. It’s actually the best takeout pizza we’ve had so far in Alaska. Besides that, the sweet young lady working tonight was so beyond generous to my kiddos with a treat, they are over the moon happy. We will definitely be regulars from now on 🙂

Out of all the pizza places here in Anchorage, Great Alaska Pizza Co. is by far the best (specifically the DeBarr location). Shop is clean, staff are friendly and the food tastes great every time. I really appreciate that they offer different types of beverages. Not just your typical Pepsi products but they have Rockstars, Bubbly and tea as well.
Recommend ordering the Garlic Chicken or BBQ Chicken.

Perfect place to order for catering. We always order around 10 large pizzas, wings and salad for birthday parties. Always had it delivered and it was always on time, hot and fresh!! We have lots of kids birthdays and GAPCO Pizza is our go to!!!
