Amazing food and amazing service!
Our waiter was wonderful and obviously very passionate about his job. The food was delicious and left us wanting more even though it was extremely filling. The portion sizes are generous for the quality. The only negative thing I could say is the outdoor dining is very close to the parking lot (maybe a fence would help?), but the indoor seating is very pleasant. Definitely order the calamari for an appetizer, you will not be disappointed in the quality or the quantity! Can’t wait to eat here again!

We had an excellent dinner at Villa Capri. We learned that they recently hired a new chef who is from Italy and he revamped the menu according to his vision. The new menu features more daring options such as pasta with wild boar and mushrooms or ricotta pasta in velvety lemon sauce. I must say the food tasted authentic and it transported us to memories of our Italian Holidays. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. They kept on checking on us. We had two dogs with us since we dined outside on their patio and they even offered a special dog menu which consisted of three healthy choices. We ordered Cesar salad, eggplant parmigiana, pasta with wild boar, fried calamari, linguine con fruitte del mare. I only regret we had no room for dessert. But we will be back to try more. Excellent job chef!

This is a newly “polished” restaurant! New chef, exquisitely and authentic Italian!! I was born and raised in Italy and believe me when I say that you will not be disappointed!!! Fried calzone, pizza, seafood, even a homemade salad dressing to die for….and so much more!!! Buon appetito!!

Great experience and the services is exactly what you expect for an Italian restaurant, the food was good but a bit americanized.
The owner from Milano is the best asset to the restaurant, serving and checking in every table, making small talk to every costumer, even with the children.

What a hidden gem. This is one of the most authentic tastings Napolitano restaurants I have found in the San Diego area. The food is fresh hot and inviting.
Certain foods I miss from Naples, Gnocchi and Spaghetti ala Carbonara. The sauce must contain egg yolk to be authentic. Most places skip this process and give you Alfredo sauce.
Pizza Parma is also a missed food

Best Caesar Salad I’ve ever had, all of our dinners were delicious and my cannolis tastes even better than they looked. I have been going here for years when ever I am near by and it will always be an absolute treat for me. The moment you approach Villa Capri you get a sense of home. The way they great you with a warm smile, the way they explain and describe the dishes, everything about this restaurant makes you wish you where Italian. This is an authentic Italian restaurants with real Italians cooking with passion and pride in their cuisine.
Absolutely everything is amazing on their menu, their seasonal specials are to die for, especially when it’s seafood season. My favorite dish is the ziti, no one come close to Villa Capris Ziti. The cheeses are perfectly balanced, the sausages are flavorful and plentiful and the sauce just ties in everything perfectly together. If you are anywhere near this establishment and want to try out authentic Italian food, please try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

My chicken parm was so salty that I could only take 3 bites. I travel often to SD for work and had been dying to try this place, but unfortunately I was disappointed this time. However, I will try it again because maybe it’s an off night.
