Love this Portillo’s location! They have kiosks to order so you don’t have to interact with anyone & can take your time ordering. And they have very quick service! Ordered my food at one of the kiosks & got it maybe 5 minutes later. Huge parking lot which is a plus. Will be returning when in the area.

On entry and ordering Jesse was a show stopper. His attitude, his help and recommendations to his awesome hair was a show stopper. Miss Karla, what a woman. She was as knowledgeable as an owner would be, she smiled, laughed and talked to us like she had known us for years. A beautiful pair, you almost couldnt afford to have. James, the manager on duty was just as top notch, he ended up coming to speak with us, and was glad to speak with us. Met us with a smile, shook hands with enthusiasm and really helped seal a life time bond. Not only will we be back, but as a new family in Denton, it will be a weekly event.

The only reason I treated service the way I did was I arrived and was THE only one to walk in and wasn’t greeted. Otherwise I love this place and today it was very dead. Prices could be better but food is good still.

The malts are really good when they are made properly. Went last week and bought three malts and none of them were mixed. Be sure to taste before you leave the restaurant.

First time in and let me tell you the food and service was impeccable. Ron, a manager there, took our order, was extremely polite and friendly, and explained the menu and was was most popular. I tried the beef sandwich and Chicago dog. Both tasted delicious. I got the sandwich without the cheese sauce. My wife got a burger and large fry with cheese sauce, and we both got sweet tea to drink. He burger tasted like it was made at home, and the crinkle cut fries were good. We got cheese sauce on the side and didn’t care much for it. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed the restaurant itself. The vibe was great. The sweet beef and Italian sausage sandwich was really great, although I did ask for the ‘bowl’ version, which they got wrong and gave me a sandwich instead, but it was still good. My wife got a chili dog which was so so, but definitely expected something better from a place that promotes itself for its hot dogs. The onion rings were really good

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one comes straight from the heart. After my house was struck by lightning and caught fire, my family and I were suddenly displaced. It was one of the hardest moments of our lives. In the middle of that chaos, the management at Portillo’s reached out and did something I will never forget : they generously offered to provide complementary meals for my family and the friends who came around to support us during that difficult time. That was actually my first time ever trying Portillo’s, and let me say this clearly: the food is AMAZING. The burgers are top-tier, the fries are incredible and satisfying. Since that day, Portillo’s has become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving a burger and fries.
But beyond the food which is honestly excellent, what truly won me over was the compassion, empathy, and humanity shown by their management. In a world where big corporations are often seen as cold or profit-driven, Portillo’s reminded me that some companies genuinely care about people and actively do good in their communities. Now that I’m back on my feet, I can say without hesitation that I will gladly spend every dollar at Portillo’s. They didn’t just earn a customer, they earned a loyal supporter for life.

The inside of the building is really cool! We got a chili cheese dog and burger. The dog was delicious!!! The burger was good. The only thing we didn’t like is that even though we dined in- the dog was wrapped up as if for to go and half the chili was on the wrapper. We enjoyed the food overall!
