Love the Dayton Supper Clubs! They are all gone except here and maybe Wisconsin and Minnesota. You will have about an hours want but then you will be seated. Lots of things they have that you just don’t see anymore like pickled herring and Escargot. We had that, their 7 layer salad which was wonderful and probably one of the best steaks I have ever had, a 36 ounce Wagu Tomahawk that I split with my wife.

Haven’t been there for 20 years and it was better than I remembered. I had a NY strip, and honestly, I believe it was the best I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is old style steakhouse. Service was wonderful. The price was below what I expected to pay for such a fine dining experience.

Great spot, 16 oz filet was delicious. Sides were standard and nothing special (green beans, salad and baked potato). Good service. They take reservations for smaller groups (2 people) on weekdays only, check the FAQs on the website.

The waiters are great and do their best to check in on you. The atmosphere is great too. I wish they had a larger private group dining area. We had a large group, 12 people, and they had to push tables/chairs together to get us to fit, but some were along the bench chairs so hard to get in/out of.

I don’t think they answer their voicemails. I tried to make a reservation over the weekend for a weeknight dinner, but never got a call back. Fortunately, I arrived a couple hours in advance of the group planned dinner, and they were able to accommodate us.

Food seems very salty.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner. Steaks cooked to perfection. Everything about the evening was fantastic. We had the best server ever. Catherine is fantastic. If you’re looking for a classic supper club, The Paragon is where to go in Dayton.

Another great experience! Shelley kept our glasses full and was very attentive, checking on us often. I had the bone in filet, and she got the 8oz filet. Both were perfectly cooked.

Ate there 12-18-25. Love the food. Getting a picture with Santa has become a tradition. It is so fun. Just a note on the martini menu – just because the menu describes a specific spirit, you may not get what is listed. I ordered the Pomegranate Martini. Menu description says Buckeye vodka – which i like – watched the bartender make it with well vodka. Lesson learned don’t believe what the printed menu says.

Ordered the bison expecting to be critical for a typically lean steak. Pleasantly surprised by the tenderness and marbling. House Cabernet gets an honorable mention. Excellent experience along with the on the spot wait staff.

Excellent food and service. I started with the crab claws and that was a great choice. I was surprised since the price wasn’t too hefty, as it is for seafood at many other high-end places. The lettuce in the Caesar salad I had was cold and fresh. The Caesar dressing was very good – just a little tangy. The homemade croutons were seasoned well and great in the salad. I had the bone in 16 oz filet. Sides I got with it were sauteed mushrooms and a sweet potato with cinnamon butter. The steak was extremely tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The seasoning made for a perfect crust on the steak. It was one of the better steaks I’ve had at a restaurant. I hate most onions but I did have some of the onion straws and they were really good. My wife really liked them. Speaking of the evil onions, some people in our party got the French Onion soup and said it was excellent. I’ll take their word on that, but they did look good. The baked sweet potato was yummy. The cinnamon butter made it like a dessert. The only negative is the chairs weren’t comfortable. They were like old rolling office chairs. Probably supposed to be part of the charm. Not a show stopper and I look forward to my next visit there!
