If you’re looking for fresh, delicious, and truly authentic Middle Eastern flavors in Buffalo, CheeZaatar is a must-try! The food is always hot, flavorful, and made with care. Their manakeesh, cheese pies, and zaatar are absolutely amazing — soft, fresh, and full of taste.
The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the place has a warm, welcoming vibe. Whether it’s breakfast or a quick bite, this spot never disappoints.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

They just opened and it’s a fantastic new Buffalo spot offering fresh, authentic manakeesh at affordable prices, definitely a must-try!

My husband and I went for the first time and returned twice in the same day because of how good it was. We got the Manakish beef & cheese and foul. Both were amazing, and the foul comes with a vegetable plate which is a plus. Also, the garlic sauce is one of the best we ever tasted. Staff is so kind and welcoming and the prices are extremely affordable. Great halal menu and a nice addition to Kenmore. We will certainly come again!

I ordered cheezaatar, cheese and kashkaval cheese manoushe.
I have to say that their Zaatar manoushe is pretty good. It’s tangy and flavorful. It’s all very fresh.
However the cheese and kashakaval are lacking in flavor. Places that have really good cheese manaeesh often combine at least two different types of cheeses such as nabulsi, akkawi or halloumi alongside the mozzarella or kashkaval. I’ve lived in Canada so I’ve had some really good manaeesh and have tried many over the years. So I’m a little picky.
For the price it’s a little steep (6.99 for cheese and 7.99 for kashakaval) given the lack of flavor/variety in cheeses and the quantity of the cheese added. It’s good overall but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to get it.

Tried them today during opening day. Very authentic middle eastern flavors and amazing staff. If they manage to maintain a consistent standard then I’ll be a regular customer for sure, as their spicy sujuk wrap is to die for and the manaqish were very good. They had an issue with smoke but I am hopeful that they’ll find a solution for it.
10/10 food and service!

DO NOT PLAN your weekend around these guys. I made thus mistake this weekend with my family. Yesterday (Saturday), I went there to get an order. First problem is they open at 10am, which makes ZERO sense considering that their food is what people typically order for breakfast. Nonetheless, I csll at 10am and they say that they are NOT taking an order for another hour. I guess they didn’t have dough or something. So we had to cancel our breakfast plan with them. TODAY, (Sunday), my family and I decided to wait until 11am to call them and order from there for pick up. And what did they say? They DO NOT HAVE CHEESE!!! What a joke! Cheese is in your damn name. You’re called cheese and Zatar LOL. How do you not have cheese?????? They said they need another hour to get cheese. Terrible management. Huge disappointment!!

What a disappointment for a new place we were looking forward to experiencing.
Walked in to find the door propped open with a high chair, and had to pull the menu up on our phones as the menu onsite has very little detail.
Once we got that established and our order in, we sat at a table to wait. After about 10 minutes it got really cold due to the open door, which staff did close. Then it got extremely smoky inside, so I think a fan is not working.
We waited about 35 minutes for our food. Which was a salad, a veggie plate and a flatbread, ordered as 2 separate meals with a No Tomato request
The sujuk flat bread and veggies were finally brought out, but the fattoush salad took about 10 more minutes. The flatbread was lukewarm and crusty as it had obviously been made with takeout orders that went out ahead of ours and just been sitting in the back.
Nothing else that we ordered required any sort of cooking. The salad finally came out, absolutely Loaded with tomatoes (see picture, probably about 2 full tomatos plus the tomato that was on the veggie plate. Again, asked for No Tomato when ordering)
While we waited, 2 individuals obviously familiar with the restaurant came in, and were loudly talking with the staff, moving behind the counter and back out front again. Eventually a call was made on speaker phone that everybody was on.
It was an extremely uncomfortable experience, and we eventually got a box and took the remaining food home to finish.
This is supposed to be a new premier place in Kenmore. Do better.

CheeZaatar looks incredible — amazing concept, great presentation, and clearly run with a lot of care and passion. The menu stands out and the team seems dedicated to delivering quality. Wishing them continued success! A great addition to the city of Buffalo

It’s family owned, very poorly managed, and did not get any food to judge it. Their hours depends on the day and the mood.
