Great atmosphere and very friendly staffing, Great tasting and authentic Jamaican flavor. I got the red snapper, which came with plantains, rice and beans and orange cabbage, Which was amazing. My wife got the jerk chicken plate, which I tried and it was great tastings. My wife also said it was great as well. I was very pleased with my first time experience. I will add this place to my list of food spots when ever I am in Greenville SC.

I don’t care about the fact that the food actually did taste decent, what I care more about is how my food was bagged and how disrespectful it was! I ordered curry shrimp with Irishmoss cocoa bread and a beef patty and roti and everything was put in the same bag so by the time I got it, the curry was all over the bottom of the bag, including my can of Irishmoss And my bags of bread, which means I had less curry in my plate itself, and all of my food was pushed to the front of the container. It would not have been difficult for them to simply put my food in one bag and my drink and another. I find that highly disrespectful so even though the food was OK I couldn’t even enjoy it because I felt disrespected, like the restaurant has no care as to whether or not my food comes a mess or not. And Islanders always slick say Americans have no culture. Well a part of our culture is we don’t wanna be fed slop or mess! Especially after spending our hard earned money.

Friendly owner.
Place is nice but just needs cleaned and renovated.
Jamaican jerk plate was okay. Plantain was dry. Food was dry overall and lacked flavor.
Wouldn’t eat here again.

I ordered off of Uber Eats so I paid 100 dollars for burnt trashing oxtails and peppercorn filled Rasta pasta which was just over peppered chicken Alfredo. Highly disappointed and will never order from here again. Doesn’t taste like people of origin are cooking. If your looking for real Caribbean food I would say stick with Irie Island cuisine cuisine off of Pleasantburg the only thing that feasted good was the coco bread and the sprite

Eating here was a disappointing experience to say the very least I did not enjoy my food. It just didn’t have that sparkle. I consistently feel this way about food and Greenville. I was also very grossed out that they were giving out teas that were not having any type of label or any type of get rid of date. I think that that’s dangerous and the rise in peace fine but I did not finish that drink. I didn’t love it and then the Jamaican patty was OK, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had.

We were driving through SC & had a craving for Jamaican food. The food is delicious I had oxtails but they were very bony My husband had the chicken & shrimp pasta 10-10 & jerk wings were fire The service however was very slow They were under staffed one person in the front of the house bartending & serving People were coming in and walking out because they were not being tended to There was no clean silverware & the bathrooms were disgusting The atmosphere was a vibe bright colors & good caribbean music The bartender/server was nice but no sense of urgency for customers it took us 30 minutes just to pay our tab & there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant

Not greeted. Not instructed where to sit. Not told what menu items weren’t available until after reviewing the menu, and we were ready to order. Food was flavorful but lacked quantity. Six shrimp and a pile of rice and cabbage is NOT $20 worth of food.

Worst Jamaican food ever. Beef patties were old and oil was rancid, could not eat it. Jerk chicken was unedible, just chicken with jerk sauce which anyone can buy from Publix. Rice and peas had no coconut flavor, bland. Chef should be ashamed of themselves
