To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent visit to the Wendy’s on Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe. The service and food handling I experienced were completely unacceptable and left me with no desire to return to this location.
When I placed my order, I specifically asked for chicken tenders only. Instead of preparing a fresh order, the young lady at the counter attempted to give me a box of nuggets that had been touched and rejected by the previous customer. This was shocking and completely unsanitary. Food that has been in someone else’s possession should never be served to another customer under any circumstances.
On top of this, when I asked for a receipt, the cashier refused to provide one. This not only raises concerns about accountability but also makes the whole operation appear unprofessional and disorganized. The atmosphere at this restaurant felt chaotic, unclean, and careless, which is the last thing anyone should experience when dining out.
I have always chosen Wendy’s for quality and reliability, but this experience was the exact opposite. I will not be returning to this location, and I feel it is important that this issue is escalated to corporate so corrective action can be taken. Customers should never be served food that was previously handled by someone else, and proper training and oversight are clearly needed here.

There’s a single pop machine, so several of us were waiting in line, to get our beverage. A female employee came from behind the counter, and cut the line of waiting customers. When asked why she decided to skip the line, she said “I gotta take care of these customers.” I find that funny, as we are the customers. So you cut us in line, to take care of us? Either way, horrible customer service.

Doors locked at 7:30 at night so you can’t go in to show them that they got your order wrong. I live walking distance and I’ve eaten there five times at all five times they have screwed up my order. Tonight, Tuesday, September 29 at 8 PM now when I write this. I asked for dipping sauce for the chicken nuggets got none asked for freshly made fries got old ones, and all of it was not hot. So whoever owns this place, your neighbors are even saying “never gonna go there again” You shut down once and I guarantee you you’re going to shut down again.

I went to this location and was absolutely disgusted with my order. The chicken tenders were so bad I couldn’t even eat them, and the fries tasted like they’d been refried to give them a bit of heat. It was a total waste of $10. I had a wedding to attend, so I just threw the entire meal away. Honestly, I wouldn’t feed that food to anyone, it’s unacceptable to serve customers something that awful.

Worst experience in Fast Food I’ve had in 25 years. Dine in, girl at the counter had attitude before I ordered, then after 2 combos she asked if there was anything else (my family of 5 standing infront of her ) every item i added after that was a sigh and face like I was an inconvenience. 20 minutes to get the $47 order, and when we got to the table there was a few missing. I went back to the counter with 3 other people waiting on their orders and mentioned we were missing a med fry and the girl looked at me again with an attitude, served the other 3 customers inside and 1 in drive thru in about 8 minutes and said they had to drop another fry so it would be 5 more minutes for the rest of the order I already paid for 20 minutes ago. Dine in soda machine was missing 1/2 the options for drinks, no large lids in dining area so I had to ask for those from the back…then apparently they dont serve straws . Cars in the drive thru were still there when we left 45 minutes later. The food was not fast or good…couldn’t understand why there were so many people lined up in the drive thru for this poor service and mediocre food. Both bathrooms had no paper towels and cook area looked dirty. Immediately regretted stopping here on the way home (not local to this area). Unbelievable. Place needs an undercover boss or owner to evaluate poor service and quality.

Okay so I went in for a burger (drive-thru), it was slow so I thought they would have took better care of my food. I was totally wrong. Spotting with the sauce and it’s like they found one piece of lettuce which was not big at all and it was just messy. Not to mention the person that took my order was not very pleasant. I felt like I was bothering them or something of that nature. Didn’t feel very welcome. Maybe another shift will be in better spirits.

Every time I go here they mess up an order, take over 15 minutes for a drive thru, and have a bad attitude. They never said thank you, they didn’t smile. The lady snatched my card from my hand. The place is filthy. An employee had gang tattoos on her neck. They don’t let you enjoy your food in your own car. And this last time they charged me 7.73 for a meal but gave me a receipt for 7.50. they don’t have a clue what they are doing and I suggest corporate HQ to step in and get them to clean their act up. This place is disgraceful.

I stopped on my way home from work to get a burger. I live in Saint Clair Shores and work in Grosse Pointe. I get home and the meat is undercooked and the fries were soggy as and smelled like old grease. I call to report it (Christmas Eve) and was told to bring it back, which I would not because I don’t live close. I was told by a manager “you only have 2 days to come get it, your name will be written in a book and if you don’t come it will be crossed out and you cant get it replaced”. I did go Friday and had my meal remade. This location was the only location that I found had consistently good food but they have had manager and employee changes and have gone downhill.
