I am rating Pop’s Lil Stop restaurant not the gas station. Food is really good but a little pricey and they are only open on the weekends. I ordered a large size sweet potato fries and was given 7 waffle fries for the price of $8.00 and some cents. Apparently they don’t like to sell just side items although I have also ordered the fried shrimp plate and a ribeye steak plate. Rating is based on the food alone.

Small menu. Not much to choose from. Had to sit in the bar area. Dinning room wasn’t open. Table was dirty as were the menus. Even the ketchup bottle, and salt and pepper shakers were filthy. Don’t seem to have ever been wiped down. Food had no seasoning. Not seeing what the other people are seeing. Maybe if your not used to having good Louisiana cookin, you may like it. will not be back.

Just moved to area and stumbled upon this gem. Great place for family or to stop in and get something yummy to take home. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. They also have an amazing country store next door! Yall gotta check it out and try the crawfish, bang bang shrimp, steak bites, etc.

Best fried fish I’ve had in years. Crawfish was really good, but the corn and lil potatoes were really good. Service wasn’t great, but she was so dang sweet. Lol …we’ll definitely eat here next time we pass thru.

Went for the first time on Valentine’s day. The little restaurant is nicley set up with the Cajun theme. I had ordered the snow crab legs which are my favorite seafood to eat. But when they came out they didn’t smell good at all and it wasn’t seasoned at all. I didn’t eat them but my husband ate them. I did eat the potatoes that came with them. The onion rings were decent thankfully. My husband got the raw oysters and said it was good but I don’t eat it and will take his word. I hope to order a steak next time because I saw a couple eating one and it looked really good. So we will be visiting again.
