What a gem! Don Armando’s fills Rochester with colors and amazing authentic traditional Mexican flavors offering a variety of dishes, all cooked to perfection! The restaurant is very clean and the owner receives you with a warm smile.
You can order your dinner with Mexican rice or white rice with lime/cilantro and you can choose between pinto and black beans. Taco Tuesday is also a great reason to come!

I tried this place for the first time and picked up carry out. I ordered the Nachos Libre, Street Corn and Tortilla soup. Everything was good but by the time I drove 15 minutes home, the nachos were soggy but still good. Those nachos would have been great if I ate them at the restaurant. I’ll be back again but next time I’ll dine in.

Having traveled to Mexico many times, I can honestly say this is the only place in Oakland County that truly transports me back to those authentic flavors and vibrant friendly culture.
Don himself greets you at the door with a warmth that makes you feel like family. His hospitality is outstanding!

The wide variety of flavors in the Tacos, Enchiladas, Burritos, Sides and churros are exceptionally savory! You can taste the tradition in every bite. I look forward to trying everything on the menu. Don Armando’s is right next to my house. The food is amazing and Armando is so pleasant and sweet. My favorite items on the menu are the fried taquitos and soup! I’ve been here since many times and I’m never disappointed.

Wonderful selection of vegetarian and healthy options. The impossible burger tacos are fantastic (pictured). My husband enjoys the beef tacos and my daughter likes the fajitas! The staff and owner make you feel welcome, and they understand and work to accommodate dietary needs. We’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had. Taco Tuesday is going to be a regular meal for us here.

What a great find. We were searching for a dinner place that was open past 8pm. After reading other reviews we decided on Don Armando’s and so glad that we did. Burritos are huge and can easily be shared. Wonderful flavor and they don’t skimp on the ingredients. We were given complimentary guacamole, queso and chips as first time guests. What a wonderful gesture.

A business next door said the food here was very good. We stopped by to grab a quick bite and found an amazing treasure! The food is great… best Mexican food in Rochester. The owners, Armando and Maria, are so hospitable and make it a lot of fun to eat there. When we were there, someone called in a large order for a Super Bowl party… what a great idea! Love this place!!!
