First time getting food at this restaurant!
We did take out so can’t speak to the atmosphere in the restaurant…. but OMG. The food is amazing! The egg rolls are huge.. the almond chicken was moist… not dry like most places.

Ordered prawns in black bean sauce. OMG prawns were huge ,succulent. Black bean sauce delicious with whole black beans in the sauce. Vegetables were fresh and perfect. Best I’ve had!

No sauce on your chow mein . Their response put the sauce from the sweet and sour pork on it lol. Thats not how chow mein is served .Sweet and sour pork hard as a rock with a strange flavor. Beef chop suey cold and mushy. Prawns absolutely doused in batter. Can’t even taste them just batter . Don’t even get me started on the egg rolls . Just batter and mush. What a waste of 50 dollars . Extremely disappointing.

Just tonight, we went and ordered take-out at the Winfield Chinese restaurant for Father’s Day. I was not expecting much, but sauce on my chow main and at least some edible, flavour some food!!! This was utterly ridiculous! The fried rice had like only 2 shrimp on it… the rice was a huge, big, deformed ball of putty and tasted like nothing. The sweet and sour chicken on the other hand, it was hard as a rock and stone cold like it was just sitting out at room temperature all day waiting to be served. They did not to put any sauce on my food and it was just bland. Instead, they just threw me like 20 pre-purchased sauce packets instead of making a sauce.. Weird tasting egg rolls too! Really disappointed and I will Never go here again!!!

June 2023 no table service due to staff shortage. Take out order dinner for 2. Egg rolls were tasty but thick batter, very little inside. Chow mein was lacking in flavour and no sauce but nice chicken strips. S & S pork overcooked. Deep fried shrimp were a bit thick battered. Very good portions.

Weve been coming here for decades and the food is always so good. In the off time there is an issue it is always resolved. Unfortunately it’s only to go now and I miss sit down meals the smorgasbord but still a hit with our family. We may order too often cause she remembers our order haha

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It was so beyond disgusting that I literally ate a few bites of each and threw it all in the garbage even know I was starving and it cost like 40$. It was literally inedible. Avoid this place at all costs.
