Came for our anniversary and couldn’t believe this magical little place is tucked away in a humble farmhouse off 94. Absolutely amazing menu, innovative and delicious! And for a fine dining establishment it has very generous portions and is very affordable! Highly recommend.

Surprising, fun and elegant. Highly recommend. The service was amazing. They were extremly accommodating. The best oysters I have ever had in my life. My wife and I did the tasting menu. They suggested that we may substitute items on the tasting menu if it doesn’t fit our fancy. My wife was thrilled. Made the experience exceptional. We were surprised at some of the dishes: flavors we typically avoid turned out to be our favorite. It truly is a must try. I would suggest reservations.

It is my first time in New Jersey and am staying in Newton for the weekend! I decided to stop by The Circle. A type of restaurant that is usually above my culinary prowess but went nonetheless. It was absolutely incredible. The staff were all amazing and the food just as amazing! I had a three course meal with dessert at the end. I absolutely highly recommend the duck! It was amazing. If you are in the area definitely stop by The Circle!

This place is …. Amazing!! My wife and I have been frequenting here over the past 2 years. The cocktails are on point…. the food is unbelieve. You must try whatever oyster special they have. Don’t be afraid of the chef tasting… it is phenomenal. Seriosuly, some of the best food I’ve eaten in my life. Try this place!

We went here for New Year’s Eve. We decided to try the 6 course and it was amazing. Every dish was flavorful, decent amount, great portions. This restaurant isn’t like anything we have had in Sussex county. It’s a hidden gem! From the begging our host was friendly and attentive. Our server Justin was great always came by to check on us after each course. High recommend it! Oh and the drinks are delicious. I had the Rose Gin my fav! We will certainly be coming back!

Our first visit to The Circle, a fine dining restaurant in Newton, was a delightful surprise. Located in a beautiful 300-year-old building, the setting immediately captivated us. The culinary experience was truly exquisite; the dishes, crafted with organic, local farm products, were a testament to the chef’s skill and passion. We were particularly impressed by the professionalism of the entire staff, who were attentive and knowledgeable. The highlight of the evening was meeting the chef, who was incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. It was a perfect dinner date and a truly memorable experience. Thank you.

Everything was so delicious from the duck breast, striped bass and bone marrow. The sauce accompanying the duck was a bit on the saltier side however.
Recommend the non-alcoholic mule drink too.
Next time would love to try their 6 course menu.

This is our favorite restaurant in NJ! We love to bring friends here when they come to visit from out of town. It’s quite pricey (but worth it!) so when someone asks me or my husband what we want for any holiday, it’s always a gift certificate here 🙂

The Circle never disappoints! I have been here several times and always have a great experience trying new dishes and flavor combinations. Their recent menu is one of my all-time favorites. The banana tart with miso caramel was particularly fantastic.

Had a really unexpected and lovely experience at The Circle. Walking up to the restaurant it’s in a quaint home with beautiful lights, it was understated but we almost intuitively knew it was going to be an amazing experience. We sat upstairs in a quiet dining room and had a lovely server, Michele, who talked us through all the dishes included the farm to table intentions of the ingredients , and the house made integrity of the restaurant. Our meal was great, start to finish, and each coarse was perfectly sized and timed. It was such a fine dining experience and certainly one of the best meals I’ve had. Will definitely drive the hour back to experience such a special evening once again!
