Disappointed. The pictures through Google reviews had me expecting more. The sushi was seriously lacking. It was lacking in ingredients. The rolls often felt empty due to not enough rice. Rolls contained only small, thinly sliced pieces of fish. There were some rolls we ordered that did not include all the ingredients that were listed on the menu, or at least we couldn’t taste the ingredients. The citrus roll in the pictures on Google reviews shows large pieces of lemon, while what we received has a tiny piece barely visible inside. The service was good and the people were nice, but the quality was below what we expected.

Good eats, large portions and great deals. The Red 8 menu has a nice variety to choose from. Everything we have ordered has been fresh, tastes great and is fairly priced. I love the curry dishes and my husband loves the sushi. We tried the cashew chicken and the sweet and sour chicken today, and while not my favorite, pretty darn good. The rice needs a bit more juicyness and seasoning, it was a bit dry and bland but we ordered extra sauces and dressed it up. The spring roll didn’t have much filling, but it was still crunchy fresh and tasty. Overall pleased with the generous portions of chicken in both dishes and the tasy sauces and fresh veggies. We will be back.

This place is located by the Sprouts on highland. We ate in and the seating was clean and organized. The waiter was quick to come over and help us. They were friendly. The sushi tasted really good and fresh. I loved all their rolls I had. Even the all veggie one wrapped in cucumber. It tasted a lot better than I expected. They were a good size for all the rolls and good amount of all the ingredients. I would recommend this place if you haven’t gone. And I’ll be going back to try some of rolls I couldn’t order. I even had my left overs 2 days later and they still tasted yummy.

The place is good, the food is delicious. average quality service. They didn’t offer a flower vase, they forgot to bring cutlery. I would like to say thank you to the chefs. If you are willing to wait a long time for your order and the long waiting process does not bother you, this is your place. Plus the establishment is open on Sunday, minus the waiter service is not very good.

I might be biased because I live across the street, but this restaurant has great to go service. Besides the one time I received half thawed seaweed salad because it was before noon when I ordered, I’ve never had a bad meal here.
I’ve only dined in twice, once at a table and most recently at the sushi bar. I remember the first time being totally acceptable and the sushi chefs tonight were super busy. It’s never been a popular dine-in place. Still it’s clean and respectable. But the kitchen and sushi chefs are always busy as hell proving that this is the place for take out. I order 2-3 times per week admittedly…
Their sushi is great you just need to know what you like. They have good pad Thai and Chinese dishes too.
I like their fairly priced hot sake, they have the typical choices.
I took a picture of the Hot Baby Roll tonight. It’s good. I like the things they do with lemon here.

A decent spot for decent sushi. We tried two rolls each.
Utah Roll, Texas Roll, Citrus Roll, and Philadelphia Roll.
I’m not really into sushi to begin with, so I get pretty basic rolls. They were… okay. This place isn’t gonna knock your socks off.
The prices are fine during certain hours of the day, and it’s cheaper than some other nearby options. But you will take a half-step down in quality.
We ordered takeout, and the lady seemed quite bugged that I didn’t leave her a tip. I felt like I wasn’t really welcome while I waited for our order.
Kinda strange, entitled behavior in my opinion.

The food here is Always so yummy! It’s a tiny space, if you choose to dine in,
(Like real tiny) and the atmosphere with the TV on and no real music, is slight bummer. The 2 roll lunch special and the warm sake is definitely worth the lack of ambiance.
At this visit, my server was very sweet, and tried hard to understand my english,, yet I never did obtain the correct wifi password.
For some reason I have never seen anyone sit at the sushi counter except for the people that work there.
I kinda wish they would open that up.
I keep coming back or ordering from this place because the food Really is good, and the prices are good too.

I don’t really go here for the atmosphere, I go here because the food is authentic. I like that. They roll my sushi up fresh and they serve my Chinese dishes fresh. Plus it’s generally uncrowded, the food is good and reasonably priced. You will definitely have change left over from a $100 bill.

Everything was very good. The egg drop soup is the best I’ve had in the valley. The orange chicken was perfect and the cashew chicken was also excellent.
With one tons and spring rolls, it was very reasonably priced for what you got.
Will definitely be going back.

We had seen this place on a TikTok by SLCFOODIE. We drove 25 minutes to arrive at a restaurant at the end of a strip mall next to a nail place and a chiropractor. We walked in at 5:45, and we were the only ones there which should have been a sign. The decor and paint was decades old. We were sat in a weird half booth/half chairs 6 top table for some reason, even though there was 2 of us. The table was placed under a TV playing Korean music videos, which they did offer to turn down.
First we ordered iced tea. 1 was brought out and we were informed they had ran route while making the 2nd one. We ordered Gyoza which was fine, and hot and sour soup. The rolls came out, and they just weren’t great. Nothing specifically wrong, but not great. No offers of refills on our drinks, no waters. Our server eventually came over and while there was still 4 pieces on our plate, dumped our dirty napkins on it, and our wasabi bowls, as I said “We weren’t done!”. She did feel bad, and brought us an order of rangoons to go. Bill was around $50 out the door. 2 hours later I’m home with a sick stomach. Would not recommend.
