I love everything about French Quarter! The food and drinks were great, the service was quick & efficient. Every dish i tried was perfectly seasoned with great, authentic flavor. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try. They do get busy so it’s best to make a reservation or you could try your luck with bar seating. 20/10 strongly recommend you try them.

My main reason for the two-star review is because of the service. The restaurant was not busy by any means when my party of 2 was there. The food came out really quick which brings to question, how fresh is the food? How far in advance is this food being prepared? We were all set with our entrees and had our plates in front of us for the longest time. Our waitress was doing everything else (cleaning a table, resetting it, sweeping, rolling silverware???) but asking us if we were all set. One of the bussers noticed we were looking for her and it seemed he told her that we were all set. I wanted to try the beignets but I was ready to leave! Fried shrimp for the appetizer was okay. I got the gumbo which I thought that the sausage and chicken were cooked good but the broth was a little too salty. My friend got the creole gnocchi and that was delicious! So creamy and tasty. Bathrooms are also in the basement which you need to take an elevator to get to it.

It’s NOLA in Boston! Was skeptical of the proposition but this place delivers authentic fare with all the classics on offer, plus cocktails. NOLA music and FQ decor, from gold foil ceiling to fleur de lis in the tile floor. Great, friendly service.

We needed to eat before a show at the Wilbur theater and this restaurant did not disappoint. Service was attentive at the bar and our food came out at record speed. Probably less than 10 minutes after we ordered. The place had a nice atmosphere and was quite busy on a Saturday night. Definitely get a reservation!
The only con was that to use the bathroom you must take an elevator. A minor inconvenience

Native Louisianan here (born and bred in Baton Rouge). This place is authentic. The food has the perfect balance of spice, fat, savory, and texture. The drinks are STRONG and creative. I also enjoyed the laid-back ambience. I really felt like I was in New Orleans. Except everything was 3 times as expensive… not their fault, though, that’s just Boston!
I had the boozy vieux-carré cocktail (a new orleans classic). For food my friends and I all shared the fried oysters, fried okra, and crab cake toast for appetizers, and the crawfish étouffee, red beans and rice, and shrimp with grits for the entrees. Beignets for dessert. So good, definitely bringing more friends back.

Visited here while downtown and needed to kill some time before heading back to the airport. It was four of us and it was a wait for 45 minutes. We would have said at the bar but we had a minor with us so that was not an option. While we were discussing what to do the host actually came over and told us that she had a seat for us because some people just got up. We just got drinks and desserts. I had the hurricane 8/10. For dessert we got the Beignets and the bread pudding. Beignets 7/10. I didn’t try the bread pudding but the presentation was amazing. Cute little spot would visit again!

Good food and friendly staff. The shrimp and grits were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The ranch fruit salad was a bit odd but probably authentic?

Ambience is fine—nothing standout—but the food makes the visit worthwhile. Started with a Sazerac, which was excellent. The shrimp appetizer was a bit undersalted, though squeezing some lemon helped. The real star was the gumbo: rich, flavorful, and served in a huge portion. We even asked for an extra serving of white rice so we could finish all of it, and still ended up with leftovers. For final drinks, I had the Cris Cris and my partner ordered something margarita-like; both were very good. Overall, a solid experience, and next time I’d probably just stick with another Sazerac.
