WOW!!! I always love Chinese food growing up on this southside of Chicago. But since I moved to Joliet 10 years ago, I haven’t been able to find anything I really liked, until now. Dragon Inn is hands down the best in the area!! Joliet, Minooka, Channahon all the way to Wilmington!! They said they’ve been there almost 19 years lol. How come no one recommended them to me? Anyway, I am giving them a five-star review. Everything I ordered is delicious from the fried rice, Hunan beef tempura shrimp chicken fried rice. Amazing!

I’m not much for reviews, but wow did this place let me down. My normal go to take out Chinese is a place in a town over, which is always good but I seen on Facebook that people were talking about this place. So I figured we would give it a shot. We spent $70 on our dinner which was insanely high but I’ll pay whatever for a good dinner. The broccoli and beef was terrible the beef was fatty and very mushy I think it wasn’t done all the way and the sweet and sour chicken was all batter and barely any chicken also was over done. Fried rice was okay. The only reason this place doesn’t get a 1 star is because the sweet and sour sauce was probably the best sweet and sour I’ve had. Could have been a bad day from them, but can’t justify $70 for 3 people to eat small take out bowls that all 3 of us threw away.

Called in an order for wings and vegetable egg foo young. The small order came with the tiniest box of white rice I’ve ever seen, and the only vegetable in the egg foo young was bamboo shoots/bean sprouts. I called the location to confirm what all comes in the egg foo young. She stated several items. When I said only one vegetable was in mine. She attempted to gaslit me stating you must of ordered plain egg foo young. Plain egg foo young would just be eggs! The only “TWO” options we were given was meat or vegetables! I don’t post reviews unless it is an exceptionally well experience or in this case underwhelming one!

I got the beef and peapod lunch deal with egg rolls!!! Yummy food, doesnt dent the bank. There was a sweet lady that was serving us, she was very kind. Brought extra napkins & a plate for my little one and I to split!

Ordered take out and got the Szechuan delight which was pretty good. Read a lot of good reviews on the egg rolls and decided to give it a try but they were really sour… not sure if I just got a bad batch or they’re suppose to have a sour taste.

This place is a hidden gem. They have one of the best rice I’ve tasted in any Chinese restaurant. I’ve been all around the country and this location is definitely top 3. Minooka is lucky to have this restaurant. Great food, nice people and all this at a fair price. I’m looking forward to coming back here.
