Faith inspired warmth blended with small town vintage charm; a perfectly tranquil setting to savor a quality cup of coffee with a friend or alone. Personable and obliging staff, helped me decide on a delicious spring special of the Huckleberry and strawberry iced latte (half sweet). Thoughtfully placed artwork in every room, with a quieter back area for more private conversation or studying. Would take a place like this over Starbucks any day!

Coffee on Raiford in Selma absolutely blew us away. We wandered in while antiquing and were immediately greeted with a warm, genuine smile—the kind of welcome that makes you feel like you’ve been coming there for years. The women behind the counter were delightful to chat with and happily offered recommendations that fit our sugar‑free needs, which we really appreciated.

What was supposed to be a quick stop for coffee turned into an hour‑long conversation with one of the owners, Kim. She was an absolute joy—knowledgeable, kind, and clearly passionate about both the shop’s history and the coffee she serves. That personal connection is something so many reviewers mention, and now we understand why. This place isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a community hub.

The coffee itself was amazing—smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Online reviewers rave about their specialty lattes and creative flavors, and after tasting ours, we can see why. It’s the kind of quality you’d expect in a big city, not tucked away in a small town like Selma.

The shop has a cozy, inviting vibe, with a quiet little nook in the back that’s perfect for reading or relaxing if you want a break from the friendly chatter up front. During our visit, several locals stopped in, greeting the staff like old friends. It’s obvious this place is a beloved staple in the community.

Honestly, we wish Coffee on Raiford was closer—we’d be there every day if we could. High‑quality drinks, warm hospitality, and a true sense of community make this spot an absolute must‑visit.

Delicious, creative coffee drinks and yummy pastries in a quiet and really relaxing atmosphere. Right in the heart of our quaint little historical downtown.
The proprietress and her staff are super friendly and the front patio is an amazing place to sit and have a hot drink on a brisk morning.
This place intrigued me ever since we stepped off the train and saw one of their flyers when we moved to Selma, though it wasn’t until we were downtown for the Railroad Days Festival that we actually tried them out and I regret not visiting sooner.
We definitely will continue coming here in the future.
Support a local small business by stopping by and giving them a try, you won’t regret it.

I ordered a large hot chocolate and after hearing the barista complain for awhile to another barista about how much she hated steaming milk, I was handed a small warm milk with chocolate sauce in the bottom. If I didn’t have a 1 year old and 40 weeks pregnant, I would have gone back but we parked too far away for that. Just want you guys to be aware that your conversations behind the counter are super easy to hear
