Man… we went here, cause I had a hankerin for pasta. On the menu, they had chicken marsala, which looked to be comparable to Macaroni Grill’s chicken scallopini…sadly they didn’t have the Chicken Marsala available that day, so I settled for chicken Alfredo.. I absolutely expected just some basic chicken Alfredo, like some basic Olive Garden crap.. but Dagum, this Chicken Alfredo was the best I’ve ever had. It was also so much food in one dish that I ate it over 3 sittings… granted, I did have a salad, a slice of pizza, and a canoli on my first sitting, but I only ate a few bites of the pizza and split the canoli with my wife.
That following Monday, the wife asked me what I want for dinner, I said Nonna Maria’s, even though I knew the truck had come yet with the Chicken Marsala.. turns out they are closed on Mondays.. im giving this review, just one week, on a Sunday morning later .. totally been planning on trying that dish this evening. This time I’ll get a picture of my dish… I just didn’t last time, cause I really didn’t expect it to be worth a review (as my wife has asked me to stop leaving reviews, when I dont like a place.)
The only reason I gave 4 stars on the atmosphere, was cause its a store front style place… but the food is 5 star cause it was better than any Italian ive had in the tri state area.
Customer service was very nice, and even let me snap a Pic of a “small” pizza, but I swear it was bigger than larges at chain pizza joints.

Definitely a miss here , sausage and peppers pizza pie for 25 bucks was not eaten it was that bad. Sausage from a can or bag,peppers were pickled or from the sandwich container. Crust was good but floppy.

Absolutely delicious food! They recently were re-opened under the original owners and there is no better NY style pizza around! If you have not tried them recently then you are missing out! You won’t find authentic NY style anywhere else around here but at Nona Marias!

When I say love at first bite I mean just that! Not only was the pizza delicious, but one slice was more than enough. We will absolutely be coming here often. The prices for full pizzas may seem a little high at first glance, but they are absolutely justified. Pizza was sizable and very tasty. Great pizza and great crew!!

I hate wasting money on not good food. First, they didn’t give me my mozzarella sticks. Then no bread sticks.
Everything was meh. My chicken Alfredo was bland. The sauce was way too thick.
The pizza just looks sad.
The baked penne was too watery.

The guys were so cool and helpful!!! They cooked the alfredo from scratch right in front of us!!! They are talented in their craft. 10/10 would recommend!!!
