Absolutely one of our favorite places on the island. The food, the drinks and especially the staff are all excellent! The moment you walk through the door Heather and her staff greet you with a warm and welcoming smile. They create an atmosphere that makes you feel like a long time friend. Bar Zin is a great place to dine any day of the week!

Dallas, our server, was very helpful, especially since it was our first visit. Bang bang shrimp appetizer was delicious bigger, crunchy & flavored just right. Scallops seared good, mushroom risotto creamy and paired well – would’ve liked more asparagus on top. NY Strip steak tender, creamy mashed potatoes, and the spinach extremely flavorful!! Unfortunately, they were out of Beignets. We will definitely visit again!

First of all, we had Tammy who was very friendly and helpful with the menu and she really made the experience enjoyable!
The brussel sprouts were very delicious and were a great way to get our appetites ready for the meal. We had the Cajun Shrimp Risotto and we had the special item they were running at the time…braised short ribs. Both were very savory and satisfying to eat. The short rib was tender and juicy. The Cajun Shrimp was not too spicy with a great balance of flavors.
The mixed drinks were 50/50 for the evening. The gin drink was disappointing because we couldn’t taste the gin. Either there was a small amount or the gin they used lacked any botanical flavors found in gin. The jalapeno margarita was much better. It had fresh jalapenos and a good mix in it.
For dessert, we highly recommend the beignets! They were the best part of the entire meal!

First meal during our first visit to Amelia Island, and this place was a hit! From the initial greeting to fabulous service, and all the delicious dishes, we were all very pleased. Every dish was prepared with a burst of flavor and presented beautifully.

We had a great dinner here last night. The folks at the conjoining wine shop are super welcoming and knowledgeable and helped us pick out a bottle to bring over to dinner. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and the food was all delicious and came out quickly, beautifully prepared!

This is a hidden gem. We loved the food so much we went to dinner two nights in a row during our stay. The staff very friendly.
We just returned last night for a wedding rehearsal dinner the food and service once again was fabulous starting with a charcuterie board then amazing fried green tomatoes, I enjoyed the filet perfectly cooked and my husband had the chicken option! The wait staff did a phenomenal job with a party over 25! And the kitchen as well

Beautifully prepared meals. Flavors were excellent. Staff was very helpful and kind. Service and food were excellent. They do a great job or paring wines for you. Everything that was going on in the restaurant just flowed very well timing of food was excellent and clearing of table was efficient and courteous.
