Mmmmmmm!!! I stopped in here while waiting for my morning flight. I got the Brisket Breakfast Burrito and it’s soooo good!! Definitely recommend. It was good the way it was but gotta add the Regulator Gold sauce to it. WOW!!!
My server Melissa was great! She came up within a minute of me sitting and had my Bloody Mary to me within a couple minutes. She checked on me frequently and was the one who suggested adding the sauce!!! Definitely recommend giving it a try if you have the time!

Just wanted some breakfast that wasn’t a pastry. Service was totally fine, waitress was sweet. Got avo toast for $15. You can’t call it avo toast and then put barely a hint of avocado on it. The scrambled eggs on top were cold. The “toast” was just a single slice of soggy bread. I never leave reviews because I’m not a picky eater and sometimes food is just food, but this felt necessary because this is straight up robbery. “Bread with egg” is what the menu should say. Next time I’m choosing the bagel place.

Overall the food was just ok. It had a really good flavor but I came early so they only served breakfast. I ordered the brisket breakfast sandwich and it comes on Texas toast and the egg was square, just as thick as the toast and reminded me of powdered eggs. The service was mid level as well. The prices just like anything else are on the higher end of the spectrum. I wouldn’t eat here a second time unless it was to try their burnt ends.

This is my second time visiting Stockyards and I ordered the smoked nachos again. During both visits (March then June 2025, photos from both visits) the staff was attentive and service was fast. The nachos were very good (by airport food standards they’re absolutely amazing) both times, and the serving size would be enough for two folks to split as lunch. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a sit-down spot and ‘healthy’ isn’t what’s for dinner.

Definitely didn’t have an airport vibe or taste! Wow!! We shared the burnt end sausage breakfast sandwich with potatoes (super flavorful) and had mimosas too. Great spot!

PROS: the pulled pork sandwich seemed slight when it arrived, but it was actually very filling, though there was more slaw than the sandwich needed. The pork was tender and juicy and not bathed in sauce, which is good. The macaroni and cheese was a stunning side, much better than I expected, so cheesy and so creamy. Pricing: while many airports charge significant up-pricing for being at an airport, this was no more expensive than a pulled pork sandwich at any KC BBQ restaurant in the city.
CONS: While the food comes out fast once you’ve ordered, the service is slower than molasses in winter. After taking my empty dishes away, it was another 7 minutes before I could get anyone’s attention to ask for my check, and then another 11 minutes before I got my check, and then 5 minutes before it was brought back to me to sign.

I ordered the 3 meat with brisket burnt ends, pulled pork, and smoked sausage. Overall, it was ok, but I was really disappointed with the sauces. They tasted very much the same and were too sweet for my preference.
The service from Janina was exceptional, and the West Bottom IPA from Stockyards was fresh, with grapefruity citrus, and paired great with the meal. The food was warm, the burnt ends were tender, the pulled pork wasn’t my favorite, and it came in a predertimened sauce which I didn’tcare for. The sausage was too spongy for my taste, similar consistency to a frankfurter/hot dog, which was off-putting. Cornbread was very dry. The coleslaw had a purple tinge, again, didn’t balance well the sweetness with the lack of acidity and had dried cranberries.
I probably would stick with brisket burnt ends or try the brisket and stick to the beef options. I’d be willing to try again, but I think the portion for the 2 meat was a bit small and ordering up to the 3 meat was too much for 1 meal.

I’ve been stopping here every time I fly since the new airport opened, and it’s always been just “okay”. But today was a completely different story. Under the new Meat Rushmore BBQ brand/menu, things have seriously leveled up.
I ordered the Hometown Hero sandwich and got the single best brisket I’ve had in the city—tender, smoky, and literally falling apart in the best way. The fries were super crispy too.
If you’ve got time before or between flights, definitely give it a try. Total game-changer.

Fast friendly service. I had the Cuban tacos. Pulled pore ham cheese and dill pickles very good. Loved them

You’d be better tossing your money into a wishing well—the worst value airport food I’ve had in some time, not to mention terrible BBQ for the price (and I likely have 40 BBQ reviews on Google).
30ish for a terrible sandwich, with miserable service. The sandwich, see photo, was a worse than supermarket bun with a small portion of meat on it and nothing else. Simply do not eat here unless you like getting nothing for your money from grumpy staff.
