Inaugurated in April 2003 in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Boteco do Manolo carries the history in its name, Manuel Barcia Riveiro, a Spanish immigrant who arrived in Brazil in the 50s, is the inspiring character of this history. A cheerful and obstinate man, “Manolo” started his family’s successful trajectory in the restaurant business, where he himself started out as a waiter. The world has turned and today this style of this character is stamped in our restaurants in the care in the kitchen and in our service.

No place I’ve been to in new England compares so far!
Excellent portion sizes and variety!
The staff was so helpful, nice and welcoming!
I loved every second of it! The appetizers, desert and the food was out of this world, easily beating some of the best restaurants I’ve been to, even in Brazil itself!
There’s plenty of parking, it is wheelchair accessible, and great for any ages!
Make sure to go there hungry! Because the portions are family style, usually serving 4 for a full portion and 2 for a half portion.
And make sure to try the cheese and guava paste ice cream, it doesn’t sound like it would be good but it is heavenly!
I still think about this ice cream!

We stopped by based on the reviews. The first impression was good the place looks well decorated and clean. We were seated fairly quick and the service took a few minutes after that. We ordered the drinks and my wife want a “capirinha” but the selection of cachaça were very limited, we ordered one anyways, but unfortunately the lime were not fresh as you can see on the picture. I ordered me a beer and the waiter asked me multiple times if I was sure about the size because I ordered the 32oz mug. They did not serve me the entire 32oz. One positive thing was the food. Everything tasted good and portion are big ( thank god because the prices are very high). I guess we could give them a second chance to see if they will improve from customers feedback and if they can keep the good quality of the food.

Manolo was definitely one of the better Brazilian restaurants we have tried in the New England area! We are so happy that our friends brought us here to try, complete with an extensive menu and gorgeous ambience with plenty of space. The filet mignon bites combo served in Brazilian Creamy Cheese Sauce with yuca fries was extremely tender and flavorful and absolutely delicious. The caipirinhas drinks (we tried the strawberry, lime, and passion fruit flavors) were all made to perfection as well. We’ll definitely be back!

We were looking for a place to eat and happened to stop here on a Sunday evening. We were sat in a lively area and it was loud but our server was able to move us to a quieter area upon request. Great environment and even better food. Joao was our waiter and he gave us a great idea on how the food is served and the live music and events they have. Even though we live a bit far away we will try to get a big group out here just have the experience again!

I have been to MANY Brazilian steakhouses, and this is genuinely the best experience I have ever had at one. Fair prices given the high quality cuisine, large portions able to fit our large party and big family. I could not stop eating the food it was so delicious. I would recommend everybody to give this place a try. Beverage price and such is higher end but it’s worth the bill. I just want to keep that clear in my review. I found this establishment to be friendly, spacious, keeping the customer’s interest at heart and very professional. Very clean, I highly recommend!!!!!!! 6 out of 5 stars!
