One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to so far. They have two separate sections, one for being with the party people and the other side for more intimate and calm dining with the family. They do have karaoke and a range of menu options. Only complaint is that the drinks aren’t made too well, and the waitresses don’t often check on the calmer side of the restaurant, other than that everything was good.

Las Margaritas in Pomona is a great spot if you’re craving authentic Mexican food with a lively atmosphere. The menu has a wide range of traditional dishes—everything from menudo and shrimp quesadillas to the standout molcajete, which comes loaded with steak, chicken, shrimp, and veggies in a delicious salsa. The flavors are bold and satisfying, and the portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

The vibe is fun and colorful, perfect for family dinners or meeting up with friends. They often have live music or karaoke nights, which adds to the festive feel of the place. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service has always been quick on my visits.

That said, there’s a little room for improvement—on one occasion, a dish seemed rushed with some unwashed veggies. But overall, I’ve had more great experiences than not.

If you’re in or near Pomona and looking for solid Mexican food in a fun, casual setting, Las Margaritas is worth a try. It’s a neighborhood gem with a lot of heart.

Fresh tasting campechana tostada. The wife had the shredded beef tacos plate. I tasted tacos, which were surprisingly tasty.
Now I normally judge a mex restaurant by Salsa and chips and beans. These all rated a 7 out of 10 for me. My wife said she enjoyed it, but for me, nothing I would crave. Two waitresses were working hard at a Thursday lunch, a bit understaffed for 24 head count that afternoon. Margaritas were pretty good. Yes, I would return. Pricing was fair, clean inside

LAS MARGARITAS EL LUGAR FAVORITO DE MI MARIDO PARA EMBORRACHARCES!
My husband was hungry after a long day of traveling and being stuck in traffic. He suggested we go to his hang out for an early dinner. I’ve been to Las Margaritas for Menudo a few times on a weekend. I LOVE their menudo!
Today we showed up about 4:45pm. The place was empty. I ordered the shredded beef torta. It was just okay. Not bad or good. I was hungry so it filled my stomach and I was content. I think the meat was missing seasoning. I doctored it up with salsa and salt. TV (Ray The Villain) ordered a shrimp quesadilla, it was HUGE! He drank 3 margaritas while we there, so they must’ve been delicious! (I get a little worried when he’s drinking. It’s always a risky gamble how he’s gonna act! Luckily he loosened up and wasn’t acting creepy) Service was good. He and the lady server seemed very friendly and familiar with each other. Which I find interesting because he didn’t seemed to know the really nice guy that was our server.

UPDATE: Turns our TV (The Villain), was planning to announce his plans to DIVORCE me! Bless his wicked little black corazon! He’s all yours little waitress!

The food was nothing to brag about. The Margarita wasn’t to the rim nor close to it. It was very mediocre.
Our waitress didn’t come back and ask how our food was, nor did she come to refill my drink until I waved her down, and I had to call the Restaurant while inside and ask for dessert. Definitely a 2 out of 10. The Churro and ice cream were a Fail. Do NOT Order it..

Met my sister for a quick drink and an appetizer while my nephew was in the ER. it was a little loud due to karaoke night but everyone sounded great. Staff were amazing! I was impressed with the variety of people of all ages and families which made me comfortable going in. Menu is a wide range of food including sushi! Prices are comparable to other restaurants. Not too high but not cheep. I recommend this place and plan on going again since it is close to my work.

Hear me out!

Get your belly to tell your feet to come here!

So I have been traveling the world since 2015. I left the USA and went abroad, visiting 27 countries and finally returning to visit family just 2 weeks ago.

While I traveled I craved authentic Mexican cuisine and could never find it.
Yes I had Mexican food in Cambodia, Nepal, and Vietnam but the best was in Thailand and it wasn’t authentic but it was decent…

This place: Las Margaritas Restaurant is by far, the best dang Mexican food restaurant on the planet!

1000% DRIVE TO POMONA AND EAT HERE!!!

Well it was called Las Margaritas Mexican food in cantina I expected that there would be a bar but when I came in it was just tables and a counter I didn’t know whether it was going to be a buffet or if they were going to seat me but I kept walking forward and eventually someone said go ahead and sit wherever you want. It also said that it was a sports bar but when I came in there were only three TVs not very big maybe like 45 in max and only one was on so so far the cantina and sports bar don’t really make sense to me. I asked the server for a margarita and asked what they use to make it sweet and she said sweet and sour I asked if they had any agave or simple syrup and they said no so I just told him to put just light very light sweet and sour and they did. The service was very good and pretty fast. The chips and salsa were very good as well and I ordered a super wet burrito with carne asada and it didn’t disappoint. The Margarita is coming a big glass and they play fun Mexican upbeat music. I would come again but it is not exactly what you think it is
