Wish we could have had better service so we could have actually had an opportunity to try this place. We walked in 15 min prior to closing (didn’t realize they closed at 2). We ordered two house blend coffees and a few packaged cookies. The woman working the counter asked what kind of coffee. We said “just like a house blend or something like that”. She stared off and said “what’s a house blend? I don’t have house blend? Where do you see house blend up there?” I said ok the lightest coffee you have then. She said she only had enough to fill two small coffees instead of mediums. We said that was fine. She asked if we would like it mixed with a stronger coffee to fill up the medium cup. We said no, we’d just take what was left of the light blend. She acted like we were complete idiots and said “well most people want a full cup of coffee…” Yeah, we would have liked a full medium but since it was at available we were fine with the small size. We ended up just taking the coffees and leaving. She closed the doors and turned off the OPEN sign behind us as we walked out. I understand it was close to closing but we just wanted a basic coffee (no cream or sugar, nothing) and a few pre packaged cookies and we were treated like we were the biggest inconvenience to her. Sadly won’t go back. Too many other bakeries and coffee shops in Muskegon to give business too.

Today was my first experience at The Sweet Spot based on a recommendation from a good friend. I was highly impressed with the way I was greeted, the food and coffee options, and the incredible prices. They don’t even upcharge for non-dairy milk! They also have gluten free options for food. The barista was so friendly. I felt incredibly welcome and taken care of. I hope they see this review. Thank you for making me and my toddler feel so comfortable! This is my new favorite spot. I am really excited to try to restaurant soon. Don’t hesitate to check this coffee shop out!

Cute little spot by the museum and college. I got a chicken wrap, Greek pasta salad and an iced chai. I don’t like mayo so the wrap was ok for me but everyone else devoured thiers! Pasta was perfect like the perfect amount of veggie to pasta ratio and no too much sauce that’s its soggy it was so good. The iced Chai was a perfect amount of spice and sweetness cold but not all ice it was so refreshing!

Had a wonderful experience at The Sweet Spot! The barista was super friendly and made me a fantastic specialty drink. The croissants were delicious,
and everything was priced super reasonably! I’m visiting from out of town but wish I could come here everyday

The coffee is delicious; Sweet Spot is a one stop shop cafe – Food, bakery sweets, & Smoothies. They get pretty creative on what they can make to satisfy what it is you’re craving to drink. I do enjoy stopping by

My daughter and I made a stop here Friday after going to the library. We decided to get a slice of the Red Velvet and Chocolate Cake. Both were delicious and unique. I am not a big fan of Red Velvet Cake my daughter is. This time chocolate was her favorite and for me; this Red Velvet cake was so delicious, both are very rich. I really wish I had bought a piece for later.
Thank you.

A neat experience with good service. I understand that the food varies as it is made by students, but my cheese cake was very dry, even the cheese part, and my cherry turnover left much to be desired.

Coffee shop/cafe ran by baker college students. Cheaper coffee with various mixed creations. Also displays freshly created food items from the culinary school that this shop is located in. Always rotating stock depending on what classes are held that day. Various baked goods, chocolates, and sometimes salads and sandwiches as well.
