We tried both the Loukoumades and Souvlaki plate, and every bite was delicious. The portions are generous, especially with the meat, which is always a great bonus. The prices are fair too. Overall, a really satisfying meal and a solid five star spot.

The food is good but really disappointed in the protein portion size. The image on the menu shows way more protein than my measly 3 chunks of chicken. For $20 you’d think there would be more… not worth the money! Go to chipotle down the street.

They used to be better. Unfortunately they started skimping on everything. Their gyro bowls are half the size now which for the price they cost is unacceptable. Giving 2 instead of 1 because they used to be good and I’ll try them one more time. I visited 01/30/26 around 8:30pm, empty store and I can see why. Fill your bowls, stop skimping!

We absolutely loved our order from Nick the Greek! We tried the Chicken Gyro Pita and the Beef & Lamb Gyro Pita, and both were incredibly flavorful. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the pita bread deserves a special mention, it was fantastic, so soft and fresh.
Highly recommend this spot!

I had the Chicken Souvlaki. I might have assumed that I was getting white meat chicken on a stick. It was horrible, the chicken chunks were barely cooked enough, it had fatty parts of the meat. It was thigh meat and maybe a little bit of white meat. The clerk was willing to give me $5 refund on a $20 order (because it was only one part of the plate) I said that wasn’t acceptable- it was the main item. She finally agreed to refund me $10. So basically my little side salad cost me $10. There were 11 people in my party.

We’re so glad this place just opened last week in DC at Westlake and close to SF. We’ve eaten at other Nick the Greek’s in south and east bay. So now we can frequent this great place closer to home.
I like that it’s casual dining – just order, sit down (or take it to go) and eat. They also have outdoor seating.
We ordered lamb & beef gyros wrap (they put fries inside!) and pork belly wrap plus side of felafel. The pork belly was meaty and wasn’t too fatty. All were delicious! They’re generous with the meats so that’s a plus. Prices were reasonable – wraps were under $10 each! We plan to try their plates next time.

The space was clean and the staff was really nice . The souvlaki was pretty good – not authentic Greek ( pretty close) but understandable. I appreciated the Greek music 🙂 the fries was old and cold and when we addressed this the staff was really nice and attentive . 5 stars for good customer service .

Another delicious visit to Nick the Greek in Westlake, Daly City California. I can here craving a Gyro pita sandwich with the lamb-beef meat. I would d what I was looking for and left satisfied.
Only thing that could be better is a lower volume on the ambiance music. Kinda annoying.

We came here twice. The first time our pita was really bad, crispy and over oily instead of the usual softness. We weren’t going to come back but glad we decided to. The beef lamb gyro was delicious! All the pita was nice and soft. Delicious seasoned rice. I’m not personally a fan of the Greek fries, too soft for me, but my partner loved them. My only suggestion to the business would lettuce on the gyros instead of fries for crispness and texture. Decent stuff!

I ordered a pork belly gyro without the fried and it was tasty. My only complaint is that the place itself is freezing cold inside. Other than that the food was good
