I had an incredible experience at Josephine’s last night. We sat at the bar, and honestly, that made the night even better. Shelley took care of us, and she was easily a 100/10. She was our server and bartender, and she made the entire experience feel personal and welcoming while still keeping that elegant fine-dining atmosphere.
She was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the menu. You could tell she knew every detail and cared about making sure we had the best possible meal. Her recommendations did not miss.
We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the sausage and rigatoni. Both dishes were outstanding—perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and clearly made with care. The sausage and rigatoni had just the right balance of spice and depth, and the spaghetti and meatballs felt classic but elevated.
And the tiramisu? The best I’ve ever had. Light, flavorful, perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, just done right.
Between the food, the atmosphere, and Shelley’s exceptional service, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. If you’re going, sit at the bar and hope Shelley is working. You won’t regret it.

I just tried Josephine’s for the first time yesterday and I had a wonderful time. I went alone near lunch time and the server was very attentive and checked up on me multiple times. My water was always filled and my food came out to me in a timely manner. The lasagne was so delicious and was a great size for me. I highly recommend you try this amazing Italian restaurant. Will be back.

We had really good Italian food and a nice experience overall. I recommend ordering the Lasagna Bolognese, Queen’s Slipper cocktail, and Chocolate Budino dessert. They were all great! The waitstaff was courteous and helpful.
We brought home some pizza to-go for our teenagers, who clearly enjoyed it since they ate the entire thing.

Service needs work, I do not appreciate the hostess spraying chemicals to clean nearby tables while we were finishing our meal. I am a regular at Eliza and Jed’s, so I will cut them a lot of slack as I know it is hard to find good staff. Our server was not very knowledgeable about the menu and food preparation. The arancini was okay but it should have been warmer; the tapenade was cold. My steak was good, and the beer was delicious! We will be back once they have worked out the kinks.

Popped in for a quick meal but can’t wait to get back for the full multi-course experience. The rabbit gnocchi was incredible and our bartender Shelly was so kind and knowledgeable. Top-tier experience all-around!
