I spent my Christmas in Illinois instead of Texas this year.. In Making the best of my day, I decided to drop in somewhere to chill and get a bite to eat, maybe a drink….,Ended up Here, was everything I expected…. Had a margarita that was off the chain …had me feeling real good and the wings and fries were good as …..cool atmosphere….cool people.

Not many option beyond a burger, but they, so I am told, have the best burgers in town. I don’t eat red meat so got the best none fried option of a grilled cheese. It was very basic, but good. Prices aren’t horrible, either.

Nice small town bar that serves as the party bar of Byron. Decent pours, attentive bar staff, and decent payouts from the machines. We like coming here from time to time but understand when we do.. at our late 40’s, we’re definitely the older generation at this bar.

The Sunday crew of Dennis and Emily rock! Super attentive and excellent banter with the patrons. They work great together and utilize a team approach when managing the bar and grill. They talk with the customers and make everyone feel right at home.
The atmosphere here is always friendly and welcoming… even if you’re not rooting for the home team on a Sunday afternoon!

Good burger. Terrible service. The wait staff spent their time socializing and waiting on their friends and only grudgingly acknowledged our presence. Checked in on friends three times on average for every time they checked on us (only to get order wrong and not provide refills, cutlery, etc.). Bartender was relatively attentive and pleasant, but waitstaff was not. Our visit was during a time of low to moderate business.

I went into the Cave last Sunday night and I’ve waited a while to post this because I’ve been there quite frequently in the past and never had an experience like this. But it upset me. The girl working was extremely rude and short with us. She seemed impatient when we were deciding what we we wanted. multiple times she would just hang out at one area talking to her friends and ignoring part of the bar. Such a disappointing experience. we will be finding a new Sunday spot if this particular girl is working.
