This bar is a gem in the heart of the Midwest, conveniently located for both locals and visitors. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly, making it a great spot for a night out. The selection of drinks is impressive, and the food menu has some fantastic options. However, the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that when I ordered a soda, the water had a slightly odd smell, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a snack while passing thru the town, but they might want to check on that water issue.

Hadn’t been herevin a few years bc the food was over priced & the owner was very smug & arrogant. But I remembered the burger was pretty good before, just priced high for a dive bar. This time the burger wasn’t even cooked all the way & the fries tasted like nasty old oil that should have been changed months ago. Bartenders weren’t welcoming or nice by any means. They seemed annoyed that I ordered food. But there was only 3 other people in there so I’m sure it wasn’t a good night for tips. Overall, the place hasn’t changed in years except the food got much worse & prices went up. I guess the cocky owner made his money & no longer cares. Definitely will never go back. Go to slops, legends, etc where the food is still worth it & the service is still friendly.

Great hang out. Bit anymore, food is not good anymore. BLT was horrible, bacon was all curled up, bread was so greasy even the napkins didn’t get it off my hands. They didn’t cut the sandwich in half either. The bone in wings were kinda burnt but still raw inside. The fries were like three times cooked!!! All in all, terrible dinner with the family!!!! Won’t be back any time soon!!!!

5 Stars all the way for Steve. This is the best bar in Clinton and has been for many years. The outdoor area in the back is great for smokers or for people like me that don’t enjoy sitting elbow to elbow.

Reasonable food. Good prices. But, they absolutely ruined my hamburger by overcooking it. I don’t understand it. The one at the table next to me was ordered medium and arrived medium. Oh well that’s how 99% of the restaurants in the world cook hamburger. By ruining it for your protection.

Great burgers. Live bands periodically. DJ on weekends. Will do special events. Have Holiday promos and daily specials. Steve and Sue will treat you like family. The only Tap in a Small Town that serves food kind of atmosphere.

Friendly staff. Ice cold beer. Bartender made a mean burger. I mean it was so delicious. I could have had two. Very friendly. I even got free dental floss from the bartender that worked the night before! Now that’s service.
