Social Profile:

Kiisaan is more than simply a restaurant—it is a three-generational family tale. Our founder, Dada Molly, was born and raised in a Kiisaan (Farmer) family. But amidst the fields, his true passion bloomed – a love for creating extraordinary culinary experiences. Dada Molly’s skill developed, and his specialties—both vegetarian and non-vegetarian—became well-known across India. Dishes like our Chicken Do Pyaza, simmered to perfection, and the aromatic Mutton Korma are still bestsellers across the country. For vegetarians, the vibrant Paneer Hariyaali is a testament to his ability to capture the essence of fresh, seasonal produce. Kiisaan is now embarking on a new chapter here in Ireland. We’re proud to be the first fine dining restaurant.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Kiisaan, and we were thoroughly impressed! The food was exceptional – flavorful, authentic Indian cuisine with generous portion sizes that left us completely satisfied. Their menu offers an impressive variety of options, including numerous vegetarian dishes that looked equally tempting.
The service was friendly and professional, creating a warm atmosphere perfect for our special occasion. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance with beautiful decor. Everything from the appetizers to the main courses showcased fresh ingredients and skillful preparation with aromatic spices that truly captured the essence of Indian cuisine. The restaurant is spotlessly clean with superb facilities.
Kiisaan offers excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience in Dublin. We’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes from their extensive menu!

Went to this place while coming back from Herbert part and the experience was really good !! The food is delicious and they had a good variety of options too. Ample of vegetarian options available with a good selection of breads. They have a thorough beverages/alcohol menu too – if one is interested !!

The staff was very courteous and the ambience was very warm and welcoming.

The food it slightly on the pricey side though and the portion sizes are only suitable for one person – something to keep in mind if you are visiting.

One suggestion to the management is to provide changing trays for babies in the washroom !!

Overall a fabulous place I would highly recommend the Chowmein to all

Best samosas I have ever had! The food here is delicious, but our waitress just seemed really inexperienced. Our waitress was kind and polite, however she was really confused by our order (it wasn’t anything unusual!) and also did not give us our change when we paid cash.

It’s a simple and calm small restaurant. The food was genuinely tasty. It was worth the price (20-30€ / person)
We took butter chicken and honestly the best cheese naan we had in Ireland.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Kissan Indian Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel extremely welcome with their warm and friendly service. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and perfect for both family dinners and outings with friends.

Now coming to the food — absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of authentic Indian flavors, perfectly spiced, and fresh. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The presentation was beautiful, and the portion sizes were very satisfying.

A special mention to the owner and the entire team for maintaining such high standards in both food and customer service.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian food in Dublin. I will definitely be coming back again. Keep up the amazing work!

Visited Kiisaan with my husband on Valentine’s Day. I highly recommend booking in advance through their website.

**Taste:**

Poppadoms with three types of condiments were complimentary for all the tables. Each table even received a rose for Valentine’s Day, which was a lovely gesture.

– **Starters:** We enjoyed the Mango Nojito and Samosa Chaat. Both were refreshing and full of flavour.

– **Mains:** We ordered Desi Chowmein, Kadhai Paneer, and Lachcha Parantha. The Kadhai Paneer came with complimentary rice or naan, but we found the Desi Chowmein lacked some saltiness. The naan was very soft and enjoyable.

– **Dessert:** We tried the Ras Malai; it was slightly chewy.

**Service:** Compared to other restaurants I’ve visited, their service was quite good.

**Place:** It’s a cosy restaurant, but it felt a bit congested due to the number of customers present in the evening.

**Washroom:** They have separate washrooms for men and women. Both are clean, and the full-length mirror outside the washroom is a nice touch.

**Parking:** Since it’s located just around the corner, parking nearby can be somewhat difficult. However, you can find paid parking in nearby lanes during office hours and then walk to the restaurant.

Had a really nice mid week meal in Kiisaan – the buttermilk chicken boa bun was simple but tasty with some heat to add warmth to the starter. The lamb rogan josh was also well made with good depth of flavour and tender chunks of lamb. The plain naan, which came with one of the dishes, was crisper than I would be used too but add some nice texture to the softer ‘fig and cottage cheese dumplings’ curry dish (I can’t remember the name). Overall, we had an enjoyable meal and will definitely try a takeaway from the restaurant next.

We enjoyed a really good meal with friendly service. We didn’t have a booking but they accommodated us without hesitation, despite being busy enough! The menu was eclectic with some surprising fusion options but a great variety of all the regular Indian favorites.
The staff were helpful and offered advice re heat of dishes, service was efficient without being too much and overall we had an enjoyable evening here.

Starters: we had a range of starters at the table. Veg Samosa was very tasty. Mixed platter was good. The chicken wings were not very good. They seemed to be precooked and were dry. They should reconsider their cooking method on these.

Main courses were varied across chicken and lamb. All main courses were good especially the coconut curry and tikka masala. The korma was nice but very cream ladened with a strong taste of cardamom. The naan and rice were exceptional. Overall experience was good and made even better by very good and attentive service. I would revisit for sure for the tika masala and butter chicken.
