My mouth is sooooo happy we came here!!! The people here are super friendly. It isn’t fancy, but who cares with food like this! The entire space is clean and well kept (including bathrooms).
I ordered 3 carne asada tacos with red salsa and yellow corn tortillas. My son ordered a “small” Superior Fries. But his serving looks huge to me. We are both thrilled with our choices and will definitely be coming back.

Best pitstop on the way to Yosemite. Multipurpose restaurant with a butchery inside. Fresh ingredients. Tacos and burritos were both served with giant pieces of pickled carrots and jalapenos. Ladies were really friendly and attentive in taking orders. They had a highchair my baby girl. Bustling during lunch time. The location was great too, right off of the highway.

This is a meat market with the most FANTASTIC Mexican restaurant inside. The food is fresh and home style and absolutely delicious. They serve a lot of workmen and service is from a counter. There is a large area inside with tables so you can eat there, and take out is guick and efficient. This is my new FAVORITE place to eat in Merced. Prices are really good, too.

I randomly took my friend here for lunch, not knowing how it’ll go… I was a bit nervous but everything came out delicious! We both ordered the plate with rice, beans, taco, enchilada and a sope . It was sooooo yummy! We also ordered an additional taco and asada fries on the side. It definitely filled us up and we also had left overs that was enough for another meal. The price has increased but it’s worth it for the quality/taste! I’ve continued going to this place ever since.

The food is good. It’s a good place to stop by while I was traveling its close to the freeway. I happened to check it out because it’s near a Home Depot. I ordered some tacos and chili Verde. Better attention should be given in how the food is served because the hot food was placed directly on my Styrofoam plate and the melted plate was in direct contact with my food. I think a piece of paper should be in between the Styrofoam and food. Ingesting melted Styrofoam is probably toxic.

This is my favorite meat counter in Merced. Everything is so fresh and clean and the service is excellent …Very friendly and attentive people. Priced very competitively. I always get the beef taco meat picada de res and they will add onions, cilantro, seasoning and lemon for you right there at the counter. I love this place. Highly Recommend!

This place is great. The meat counter has a small but good selection of meats and meat packages to choose from. They are happy to make substitutions on any meat pack and will even cut custom cuts for me. Prices are comparable to other butchers. It’s also nice to have the kitchen that serves a variety of Mexican dishes for eat in or to go. My favorite from the meat counter is the Flat Iron Steaks (when they have them). I have them cut for me to pick up at a later date.
