We’d had this place recommended to us so we gave it a try. It’s a nice little place tucked away on a side street and has a quiet atmosphere with pretty napkins and nice big windows.
The food was good–we had the pad thai with chicken and the pad thai with fried tofu and the bbq pork with rice. They gave us so much food! Enough for two meals certainly!
Would recommend.

I went here once in lunch and once in dinner. So far so good, tasty, affordable price, good enough portions. Our server in dinner time, too nosy, she asked too many private questions just because we’re Asian. And it makes me uneasy, want to leave as soon as we ate our appetizers. She kept on coming back and ask anything else to order? It was just me and my kid, we had three appetizer, two main course. Anyway, Simple menu with good descriptions. Overall great food, quiet ambience, suitable for business dinner, affordable price.

This is a “to go” location for Sawadee and what was once a dine in restaurant, Bangkok Terrace. I got their lunch special which is about $13. You get a lot of food. Definitely enough for two meals.

We unfortunately did not experience anything close to what many of the other reviewers did while eating here. My husband and I arrived just before 6 pm and were seated immediately. We did not get any water or have our order taken for 15 plus minutes which was odd considering there were only 2 other (small) tables dining at the time. Our appetizer (chicken satay) took more than 30 minutes and though the flavor was good, the chicken was extremely dry. The Pad Thai lacked flavor which was disappointing considering the various ingredients and usual flavor profile the dish offers. The Masaman Curry was the only redeaming portion of our meal- it was delicious and the size of the entree was great. All in all, the service was lackluster at best and the food was mediocre. We will not be dining here again.

Nice setting in downtown. I was in the mood for some Thai food when I found this place on Google maps. With everything going on in our world, I am a big supporter of our small business owners and glad I went in and supported this one. What a great place to eat. The portions were a perfect size, the flavor was excellent, and it tasted like all fresh ingredients. I highly recommend you stop in and try this place.

We loved the coconut soup! The Yellow Curry was tasty and the perfect amount of spicy. The Spring Rolls were cooked perfectly. Would have given 5 stars but we weren’t sitting on top of the AC vents which gave off a mechanical smell. Staff was great, food came quickly.

The food is FANTASTIC! Great little Thai restaurant by Gallivan in Salt Lake City. I tried the Ginger stir fry and it was delicious. Good portions and great price for the lunch specials. Service was great the entire time. Can’t wait to go back and try more. This just might be the best new Thai Restaurant in SLC.

Went here on a date, the atmosphere was very romantic. Got the pineapple curry with shrimp and cream cheese wontons. Probably the best wontons I’ve ever had. Just melted in your mouth. And the curry was excellent. Never thought pineapple would be good in curry but it definitely was. It had just the right amount of kick too. The waiter was incredibly friendly even though he was the only one in the dining room. I would highly recommend this place!
