Went here for the first time for a bacon, egg and cheese and the bread was stale and hard. Bacon was very greasy. There was little to nothing as far as pastries. I think I’ll stick to Chavez on State St. They’re much better in sandwiches and pastry varieties

Wonderful full bodied self serve coffee reasonably priced. You can also put cinnamon in it. Some Portuguese groceries. Fresh rolls and pastries. European cafe atmosphere sit and socialize if you like. Has a big biz for* breakfast sandwiches reasonably priced made to order*. The loveliest beautiful sweet kind ladies of all ages behind the counter.

You ever frequent a food location so often, over a period of time where you almost become a regular? That’s Chaves for me. It’s definitely been awhile with COVID19 and a new diet, but me and my bf decided to grab sandwiches for breakfast this morning. I didn’t go inside but the food was great, as usual. We got bacon, egg, and cheese. I love the Portuguese roll but I do have to take out some of the bread. They have offer a nice variety of bakery items and pantry stables with a decent section for deli. Highly recommend and they have multiple locations throughout the city.
