Opened in the spring of 2025, Trail Stop Brewery is Columbia, Missouri’s newest destination for authentic craft beer, Chicago-style deep-dish pizza and wood fired pizza. This locally-owned brewpub offers a unique and inviting atmosphere where house-brewed, small-batch beers are perfectly paired with hearty, made-from-scratch deep-dish pizzas. Beyond pizza, the menu features a variety of other favorites, including wings and sliders, all crafted with bold flavors in mind. Whether you’re gathering with friends for a fresh pint or a memorable meal, Trail Stop Brewery combines a welcoming vibe with exceptional food and drink.

I would say this is a perfect place for catching a beer and pizza this far south of town.
The atmosphere was bright and loud. We were just meeting another couple for a double date. It was raining this evening, but the patio and pickle ball courts looked really nice. They had a variety of sports on the many TVs but I appreciated that they were at a volume that you could know what was going on but still hold a conversation at your table.
Overall a very clean and we’ll run place.
4 stars only because Columbia has such strong offerings when it comes to pizza and micro breweries.

Trail stop brewery, maybe a good place to go to have a beer play some pickle ball throw an event even on the outside patio. With lots of different food . I will say the pizza is compared to MOD pizza. The meatballs were delicious. Didn’t get a chance to try everything on the menu. Servers are extremely slow, I think that might’ve been the first time they were did the job. Really bright atmosphere. 3.8 overall.

Trail Stop Brewery gave us one of the best dining experiences my family has ever had. We came into the CoMo to visit family and discovered this eatery that has it all: tasty craft beers, great tasting pizzas and appetizers, and a fun atmosphere for everybody. We had drinks and appetizers while playing cornhole. I ordered a flight with the three IPAs and the wheat beer. Tincture of hops was my favorite. The meatballs and toasted ravs were hand made and full of flavor without being too filling. As soon as we were finished, our pizzas came out. We had an Aloha, a pepperoni, a Butcher, a Supreme, and a Margharetta. We all snacked off each others’ pizzas and were amazed at the sweet, tangy sauce, cheese that stretched across the table, crispy crust, and fresh tasting toppings. Our server Helen was a total sweetheart and a real pro with our large order. We never order desserts at restaurants, but Helen recommended the gelato, and each of our kids had one. I was amazed they could squeeze that all in after eating most of the pizzas, but they managed. All in all, a great place to take kids or adult friends for a night out.

My husband and I live very close to Trail Stop Brewery. We were very excited to have a brewery being built so close to home and have been several times now. The building is always clean, comfortable and welcoming. Our toddler loves when we sit on the patio so he can run around. We’ve had great service every time with the waitress being very kind and attentive.
The beers are excellent and there’s a good variety. We’ve enjoyed the meatballs, ravioli, pretzel sticks and gelato. The pizza is good, but unfortunately way over priced. Everyone I have talked to seems to say this too that you get too little pizza for what you pay. My husband and I each got two beers, one appetizer, one pizza, and split dessert last night. It was about $70 for the two of us and we both left hungry since the pizzas are so small. We both said we could’ve ate a whole pizza by ourselves. In the future I think we will only come here for beer due to the pizzas being so overpriced.

We are loving the new Trail Stop Brewery! The beers and cocktails are great (new favorites are the Wabash Wheat beer and Brown Boxcar cocktail). The pizzas are just what I love. Thin wood-fired crust and delicious toppings. The Fun-Guy and Marceline Butcher are faves so far. Sandwiches and etc look great also.
The young staff is improving each day in this first week open and management is keen to smooth workflow. There have been large crowds whenever we have been there, so they have been thrown in the deep end. We had fine, friendly service and expect it will be better each visit.
Can’t wait to play Pickleball while enjoying pizza and drinks this summer!

Trail Stop Brewery was great! They have 4 pickleball courts that you can rent for $20/hour, a nice menu with options that everyone liked, a nice assortment of beers and a nice bar with lots of other alcohol options available as well as indoor and outdoor seating. They have a couple corn hole pads set up in between the patio and the pickleball courts. The prices are fair and everything was delicious and we all had a great time. The meat on my Smokey Chick was dryer than what I typically like, but I got a ramekin of BBQ and that helped. The bread was heavenly that was used on it and I could taste that in house; home cooked bread taste. There is a big parking lot and then street parking down a quiet 2 lane country road.

This was their second night so they get a Grace star for that. Great vibe! And they were really trying but they got some bugs to work out on the service side. Three of the beers posted were not available. Which on a printed menu I get, but add a caveat on your big beer menu posted in your main hall “Almost done.” Or something like that. Drinks took forever. Had to ask for plates and silverware and the food was par. They might want to consider putting in some sound baffles in, because it was extremely hard to communicate with our server, or each other for that matter. I had the Hazy which was a good IPA. Over all it was Meh. I will come back in six months to give them a chance to earn another Star, but until then I will wait till they get the bugs worked out. Great people, fun vibe, new business.

I have tried two of their beers, the Coal Miner Lager and the Wabash Wheat, would get both again. The pizza was good and the pretzel sticks were awesome.
The outdoor areas are great, would recommend if you are looking for a great patio or want play some pickle ball and try a few local brews.

Trail Stop is a trail gem! I avoided this placed based on friends talking about their initial experience when the establishment opened.
Jason is the best…he spoke about all the improvements they have made and truly endorsed this place! Jason was the best ambassador of this business. I’d describe the experience as being a mixture of being in a pub and an economical bargain!
Seth and Dak rocked the culinary arts!
I highly recommend this place!

The service here was not great. We were a party of 2 and even though they had these huge family style tables with plenty of space for 2 people to sit at the end away from anylarger groups, it was 20 minutes before we were seated. We ordered appetizer and somehow got the pizza that we ordered 10 minutes after our appetizer first. Our waitress acted very dismissive when we asked where the appetizer was. Later she came back and asked if we were ready for our bill even though we both still had food on our plates (and in our mouths). We did we wanted a second drink and waitress said “I have to go finish with someone else and just walked away”. She finally came back with I assume a manager and we ordered mixed drinks and a to go box. For a pizza place you would think they would have pizza to go boxes but nope, the smallest plastic trays to put half a pizza in. It then took a full 20 minutes for us to get our mixed drinks, it would have been a lot longer if I hadn’t flagged down our waitress to inquire about them. The food itself was good but nothing to write home about. Loved the caprese bread but I’ve had better taco pizza at Casey’s.
