We pre ordered our pizza for delivery at 3:52pm to be delivered at 6pm. It said we would have the pizza between 5:55pm and 6:05pm. My wife called them at 6:13 to get a status and was told there were 4 people ahead of us. The guy who answered said they don’t get the orders early. At 7 I called back and was told it’s out for delivery along with 2 others and he did not know where we were on the delivery. He also told me the orders don’t come in at the time you pre order. It’s now 7:35pm and still no pizza. I’m not sure why they give the ability to pre order if it doesn’t work.
So, Pizza arrived at 8:05. As we figured it would be, the pizza was cold and like cardboard. After we spoke with the guy on the phone earlier and his lack of concern for the customer, all I can say is bad business. It is obvious their concern is not the customer. Not that it will effect HotBox but we will definitely not order from them again.

This pizza was an experience! Right away I noticed how beautiful this pie looked. Had to take pictures to treasure the moment. Everything was perfect. This pizza will live in my mind for a very long time. Thank you Hot Box Lafayette

They told us 15 minutes ended up waiting over 40 minutes because they put the pizza on the to go rack in a box when we ordered dine in we sat there waiting for our food that was there the entire time but nobody noticed because the workers were more worried about conversations amongst themselves and all I got was “I’m sorry”. Time was wasted for something that was very avoidable.

Hate when you guys send doordash or other food delivery. They send multiple people when delivering 2 people to deliver an order. Seems very sketchy to me my food is not sealed with anything who knows what they could do. Would appreciate it you guys added stickers to ensure food stays shut.

This hotbox did a fantastic job for our group’s big order while someone (I think named Holly?) was smashing out pies like we used to back in the day- fantastic quality, perfect accuracy, and our person who picked it up said (I think due to the sudden bad weather) they were making pies alone. Huge props to someone still smashing out pies like a champ like that, just like three of us in the group that ordered used to do 15+ years ago! Give that person a raise, Gabe! We love ya!
