I’m extremely sensitive to caffine, so I always order a medium, iced, half caff, almond milk Creme Brulee latte. I was told there was no espresso due to a broken machine. Okay, so now what? I was told she could make it with regular coffee. I verified my order 3 times before I paid. It takes longer than normal and I’m handed something that I assumed looked different because of the coffee sub. But it didn’t taste like my regular at all. It had caramel sauce and looked really dark with a seperation in color from what I can only assume was the splash of almond milk. She said here is your salted caramel cold brew. Huh, that’s not my order. I looked at her strangly and she shut the window.
I took my dog for a walk and about 25 minutes in I started getting really anxiety ridden, overstimulated, jittery, changes in vision and I had very real disassociation flashes. It was terrifying. I spent 20 minutes laying on the grass trying to relax my mind to be safe enough to drive home and finally had a friend help me get home. My heartrate, while sitting there, was 127 at the highest, according to my smart watch.
I don’t understand where the disconnect was on my order, I verified it over and over.
It’s 10:30 at night and I’m still shaky.
I won’t come back to this location, in fact I’m thinking of ending my relationship with coffee all together.
Peyton and Payne are always wonderful but I’ve never had an unkind or rude experience with any of the staff! The drive thru is quick and they’re great to communicate that they’re working in your drink as well as fun and friendly! Not only are they friendly but great to make things right if you’re not satisfied with something in your order. TLDR;
Cant speak for food as I usually only order coffee.
Staff is super friendly, helpful and quick to correct mistakes. They also never make me feel pressured to tip. (I will always tip but it’s refreshing to not feel pressured to do so.)
My drinks are always great, accurate and perfectly caffeinated… thinking about it.. I think I’ll go get one now!
To my surprise, I was eating paper, The cheese still had paper in it when I got up and asked for a remake both barista Looked at each other and laughed. They did offer to make me a new one, but with no apologies
Will not be coming back to this location
No manager on duty
We got here around 11 and it was dead quiet. Drive thru was not busy and there was only one couple ahead of us in line. It took the staff a very long time to take their order (which I think was only one drink.)
I ordered for my husband and I and to their credit the drinks were ready rather quickly.
But they were both wrong.
Despite this being a simple order, a cold brew and an iced latte. Now usually this wouldn’t matter, mistakes can be easy to fix but with two drinks so simple as cream and cold brew and iced vanilla latte I’m not sure what the deal was.
In addition to that, I’m pregnant, I ordered mine decaf and while she did verbally say it was decaf, the fact that staff got both our orders wrong now makes me hesitate and wonder if they actually got the right coffee in my drink.
(This ^ is not an accusation merely a commentary on how if you managed to mistake two very simple drinks. It is not a stretch to believe he may have gotten the coffee wrong for a legit medical concern.)
All this to say that staff may want to have a quality control meeting.
