Pete’s Diner in Glens Falls is a true gem, warm, welcoming, and the kind of place that makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. The food is hearty and satisfying, and what amazed me most was that a full meal for two only cost around $20, which feels almost unheard of these days. Great food, genuine people, and unbeatable value, I feel lucky to have come across this place.

Absolutely loved this place, my partner and I were trying to find a breakfast place to eat before heading to the road. We ordered the pancakes and they were done perfectly. They were warm and soft, on the side there was some butter that you can add on. This place has history for sure! I loved the style of it. The lady in the front was super kind and wonderful.

This is an awesome diner! It feels like you took a trip back in time in the best way possible. The food is great and portioned perfectly. We really enjoyed stopping here for breakfast.

It’s cash only, but the prices are fantastic and the staff is very friendly!

The 1960s called; they said KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, PETER’S DINER! This is EASILY the most authentic, legit, bona-fide classic diner experience I’ve ever had, and I have eaten at a LOT of diners. So glad I was able to locate this place on Google because it was close to where I was traveling and since it opened at 5 AM I was able to have a hearty breakfast and be on the road early. The prices are absolutely phenomenal. You can see in the photos that I have uploaded. The breakfast shown was $13 including a tip of more than 20%. The service was fantastic, it was like your grandmother was making breakfast for you. The portion size maybe isn’t the greatest but when you look at the cost, it’s still an incredible value. You could order double everything and still be cheaper than most other places. My breakfast was prepared fresh and tasted just fantastic. This place is so real that they do not even have artificial sweetener, so I used sugar in my coffee which I never do! There was ample street parking when I was there, but it was super early, so it might be an issue later in the day. I wanted to take more pictures, but didn’t want to disturb the other patrons. An absolute gem of a place. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area again. Recommended!

So far one of if not my favorite experiences with a diner. Its not crazy or out of the ordinary, it feels like home. The price was amazing, the service is great they treat you so well and after a long day in the mountains this was the perfect place to stop and grab a meal. Ill 100% be back and im so glad to have stumbled on it while on my way back to jersey from the adirondacks. Only 5 minutes off of 87!

One of the more authentic diners in the USA and hardly changed since it first opened in 1961. The menu too has hardly changed. I wouldn’t say the food is the best but the total experience compensates. The cost for French Toast, two cups of coffee came to $11 including tip.
Service efficient. Newspapers provided. No TV screen.

Tucked away, this little hole-in-the-wall diner has a cozy, no-frills feel. The food was pretty average—nothing bad, but nothing to write home about either. What stood out more was the service; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. One important note: it’s cash only, so make sure you stop at the ATM before you go. Overall, a decent spot if you’re looking for a quick, simple breakfast with good service.

Best Diner in Glens Falls! Pete’s Has been around for a long time and is a hot spot for locals and travelers who are lucky enough to come across it! You may even find some of the traveling hockey teams filling up on a hearty breakfast/ lunch from time to time! Nia (Pete’s Daughter) and Helen (Pete’s Wife) are carrying his legacy of providing delicious food and great value. Whether you want to sit down and enjoy a meal with your loved ones, or get a quick meal to go; these ladies deliver! They are cash only! They also have some old time appliances that will remind older patrons of “the good ol’ days.” Including a working payphone! Come to Peter’s Diner and experience simply delicious breakfast or lunch!
