I ordered Hawaiian poke and spicy tuna poke. It was all so delicious! I’ve tried a lot of places including one in Hawaii but Hawaii Kitchen’s poke’s actually more delicious for me really . The lady at the restaurant was so friendly and nice and pick up was easy too. I want to try their different pokes next time. If you love poke you should come here!!

I haven’t been here for awhile, regrettably so. But I will say the nice lady who would make my food every time I would come here is an angel and the food is so fresh and delicious. Made with care too. They had almond cookies to buy at the register that were a perfect way to top off my meals. I look forward to going back soon.

Had the Incredible roll, which lived up to it’s name.
The staff was very friendly and happy to answer questions. Clean restaurant. Seemed like they were doing more take out then dine in; that being said, my order was still ready in less then 5mins. Cuts of fish were sushi grade.

I come in regularly for my Cindy Roll and normally love it and get great service but today I was given the worst roll of my life. This is a $16.91 sushi roll which is tempura shrimp with mango, avocado, spicy mayo, crab meat, and masago. Today my shrimp was cooked to death! There was barely any shrimp or mango in my roll, it was over-cooked, the breading was extremely hard (inedible), the shrimp wasn’t deveined, and the shrimp was like hard rubber. So incredibly disappointing for the price I paid! When I called to complain I was not offended a new roll or the money back, I was only offered a $5 credit towards my next purchase. This is unacceptable and not how you keep your customers. You have to be consistent. You have lost a good customer who sent many good referrals.

In Reading and looking for a place to eat? Go to Hawaii Kitchen! The menu has a wonderful variety of unique and colorful flavors that all blend together to create a wonderful dish. The woman who owns the shop is very kind, and her daughter is also an absolute joy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing, making it the perfect environment to enjoy a nice meal. 10/10 will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here!!

Wonderful small place! Seating is either high stools at bar or 5-6 tables. They do have a booster seat for small children or a high chair for babies/toddlers. Their isn’t a wheelchair accessible entry though or for anyone needing a ramp.
I got the Sesame tofu poke bowl and shared the rainbow sushi donut with my friend. The donut was amazing and such wonderful flavors. Loved the poke bowl and was very large (had leftovers) but the ingredients were so fresh. Definitely will return!

I did like it. One star off for prices as they are high. It has Hawaii in the name but it’s truly in name only as this place is more Japanese than anything (not in a bad way, just saying that if you are expecting Hawaiian it’s not here). Sushi was excellent and highly recommended for this! The sushi burrito is actually a huge uncut roll (which is fine) and they are very, very good! But again, be prepared to plunk down some change. This meal was two burritos, two pieces of spam musubi, and a sushi roll; no drinks. Total was $45.
