Went here for brunch on a Sunday, late morning. Emma attended to me and was very pleasant and helpful! I ordered the Guajiro Cubano ..the beef was very tender and well flavored. The plantains sweet, eggs were well seasoned too. I also had the matcha latte with oat milk. I recommend this spot.

I am in loveeeeee. It has simple decor yet Puerto Rican island vibes. I went for brunch on a Sunday, no wait. The VIP Ranchero Chilaquiles was made to perfection. Kiss the chef!!! Service was friendly and food came out quickly.

Stopped in on a fluke and was blown away. Nice neighborhood vibe going on the minute you walk in. The food was so tasty and fresh we wanted to try everything in the menu. Great variety. The space is super tight and clean. Can’t wait to get back.

Very cool spot in a great downtown Skokie location, with a huge menu to choose from.
We sat outside where the decor was really aesthetic, with both shaded and unshaded seating options. I had a drip coffee with oat milk and the Chocolate & Banana Crepes, while my boyfriend ordered the Mushroom & Steak Sensation Egg Bowl with an oat milk latte.
The drinks and food looked beautiful and tasted just as good—though fair warning, the egg bowl is pretty heavy on the cheese.
Service was a little slow, but the staff was so friendly and accommodating that it made up for it.

Brunch on the patio in downtown Skokie was a great call. The weather was perfect, the patio was comfortable, and sitting out there with coffee felt like the right way to spend a morning. I had the Egg Bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and honestly really good. It was a little expensive for what it was, but I did not regret ordering it.
The service was on the slower side, but it matched the relaxed feel of the place. It was nice to linger over coffee while waiting for food, so it did not feel like a problem. If anything, it added to the sense that this is a spot where you can actually slow down and enjoy yourself.
The atmosphere is easygoing and welcoming, the kind of place I can see myself coming back to often. Even with the higher prices, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth it.
Overall, I would give it 4 stars. The food was great, the patio made the meal feel special, and while the service took its time, it worked for a leisurely brunch. I am glad this place is in downtown Skokie.

This is quite the place for breakfast or lunch. I was there at 10am on a Monday and had the veggie omelette that comes with potatoes and some of the best side sauces to enjoy the omelette with. Their house made hot sauce was amazing freshly made and had a great flavor.
I also had the cappuccino which was very good. The server who sat me down and the server who took care of me with everything else did a great job and I loved their service. Everything came out super fast and I loved the umbrellas hanging from fishing wires as a ceiling in the outside patio. It’s a really cool spot I live down the street and will definitely be back again.

Parking was easy with street options, and the outdoor patio had a cozy vibe with colorful umbrellas that really added to the atmosphere. The coffee, natural juices, and mimosas were nice, but the place was packed, which slowed down the service quite a bit. Unfortunately, the delay was frustrating since we didn’t get our food on time, and my steak was a bit overcooked, though the eggs were decent. Overall, the food was okay, but the slow service took away from the experience. It’s a fun spot, but I would recommend going on a quieter day.

Stopped by with a friend to have lunch the other day. Good spot for good eats in downtown Skokie. Service was top notch and portion sizes were good. Ordered the Chilaquiles and my friend had the Cuban sandwich. Both were well prepared and satisfying. The chicken with the chilaquiles was a bit on the dry side and the chips were a bit too crispy, but nothing to warrant a major complaint, but not a full 5 either. Will be back to try out some other dishes.
House sauces were all good and tasty, too.

My mom and i picked up food to try at this location. We just opened up a new practice next door. We were excited to try the restaurant next door to us. We got the banana and Nutella crepes. We also got the chilaquiles. I have to say these were by far the best. It tasted like a home-cooked meal. Definitely will be returning. The atmosphere is inviting. The staff were welcoming and professional!

The atmosphere is great the service is excellent The Waitresses are very friendly and well trained. They have dishes from Colombia Guatemala Mexico and Cuba The management is excellent . The food portions are not as generous as I like for the price. Most dishes to start at $ 14 end up . They don’t have a child menu back up on request they can do one. They have a very good quality tea.The restaurant is very clean including the bathrooms.
