Met there with a group of friends they don’t open till 1 p.m. on the weekdays the kitchen doesn’t open until 4. Sharon was so sweet and seeing that there were seven in our group she got permission to open the kitchen. The food was normal bar food but with the added extra love that Sharon added to the whole visit it tasted that much better.

Great place to stop and grab a beer. Be prepared it is pretty smokey in there. If can’t tolerate smoke, just keep driving. Lots of regulars there and a good lunch crowd. The bartender was nice. The food was good for the cheap price you pay for it. I ordered the Burger and a side of tots and you definitely get your money’s worth. There are pool tables in there too. The bar stools are super comfortable!

Might be one of the remaining few bars where you can smoke inside. I am not a smoker but being there was tolerable but the smoke eaters could do better. We got there after the kitchen closed so we could not try the food but the beer was cold and the music was great Watching the folks play pool was entertaining as well. Nice neighborhood bar

It’s okay for a beer but I wouldn’t suggest food since nobody would even wait on us let alone give us the time of day. Completely ignored by the bartender we didn’t even get service for a drink. I guess you have to fight your way through the full bar around the bartender to get her attention that’s when she’ll turn around and actually acknowledge you because even when I went up to the bar she was so busy talking to her friends she didn’t even turn around. I don’t even think I should give it three stars. Customer service at its very worst. My party of three left.

Although this isn’t far from my home, I don’t get a chance to stop into this cool bar often enough. The last time I was in there, there were very few dry eyes in the place. Janelle (I really hope I didn’t misspell her name) who had tended bar here for years, had passed away….The impact she had on so many lives was very evident on this night and my heart broke for each and every one of them…Even with that weighing over them, the people who work as well as the patrons were still as friendly as ever and her spirit was kept very much alive. My heart and prayers are with every one of the amazing people that I shared a couple of hours with.

Nice 16oz.bush light for only 3 bucks, I’m not a smoker it’s just to smokey in there for me but it’s the only bar to go to for a beer on Mondays
