Food was good, drinks were very well priced and the bartender was easy to find. The building allows smoking inside and there’s no ventilation if you want a area thats not so heavy on the smoke.
Pool tables are free certain days but the regulars don’t let you just play with your friends or family if you are wanting to just have a table to yourself for awhile.

Great place to stop and grab a beer. Be prepared it is pretty smokey in there. If can’t tolerate smoke, just keep driving. Lots of regulars there and a good lunch crowd. The bartender was nice. The food was good for the cheap price you pay for it. I ordered the Burger and a side of tots and you definitely get your money’s worth. There are pool tables in there too. The bar stools are super comfortable!

Met there with a group of friends they don’t open till 1 p.m. on the weekdays the kitchen doesn’t open until 4. Sharon was so sweet and seeing that there were seven in our group she got permission to open the kitchen. The food was normal bar food but with the added extra love that Sharon added to the whole visit it tasted that much better.

This place is what sums up hometown Tavern. It is very large with lots of seating. The bartenders are down to Earth, friendly and fun. They learn your name and usually, what you drink. They have: pool, shuffleboard, cards, music and gambling. It is an awesome place for adults to gather and have a great time! The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner. The food is some of the best bar food around!!! The Double Lucky Burger and the Philly Cheese are both AMAZING!!! They do allow smoking and vaping. As a non-smoker I still enjoy it because they have smoke eaters and when people smoke it is usually at the bar. I sit over in the game area to remove myself from it if it is noticeable. I really hope this place thrives for decades to come!!!

Being a non smoker it was hard for me to get past the intoxicating cloud of smoke that lingered. But it appeared to be a local favorite of a friend so I was almost forced to try it.
The atmosphere is dead. Just a bunch of people that appeared to be waiting in line for their coffins.
I was the youngest person in the building at 30 years old. And that’s certainly not a problem.
But the carpet, tables and overall atmosphere could use a re vamp to say the least.
Ordered the side cheese curds and 1/2 Lb lucky burger with fries.
Food came out extremely hot and fresh. No complaints! Taste was very exceptional from the curds to the burger! Portions for everything that I ordered was extremely generous for the price!
I must say I was definitely disappointed on arrival with all of the smoke and setup, but the food made up for all of it.
All in all this place was exceptional when it comes to the food and if you are traveling thru I say go for it!!
