Food and drinks were great! Appetizers are perfectly portioned. Fast service and friendly staff. Love the time of year when the pumpkin beer is out! They always have great specials. Large portions and never disappoint! Highly recommend!

Never buy wings for Superbowl here. Wings looked like they were just thawed out chicken wings. Soggy, almost no sauce on them. I ordered 50 hot & 50 medium. Returned to the party I was at and opened them up to see what looked like thawed out wings. Tried one of each. Both were soggy and had almost no flavor to them. Went back to the place to get more sauce after calling them to ask if I was supposed to get sauce with them since there was next to nothing on them or on the bottom of the tray. They gave me 2 sauces and I asked which one was hot and which one was medium. She didn’t know. Then she came back with a container of mild sauce. I told her I only wanted hot and medium. She tells me they are both hot/medium. Don’t even know what that was supposed to mean. She takes them back and just writes hot on one of them. Both sauces looked like water. I got fed up and just took them and left. When I returned to the party I tried them. They both tasted like they mixed vinegar with Frank’s red hot sauce to create what they think is wing sauce. The extra sauce was so thin and liquid it just ran right off the wings. So after the second set of 2 wings I was done. Not many people are them and my sister asked me if I wanted to bring them. Home. I told her to throw them in the garbage wear they belong. Never be coming back here for wings again.
The manager and people that were trying to get the wing orders out were trying to be helpful and were apologetic about my issue. One woman said I was the second person that had the same issue and asked me to take pictures of the wings and send them to her. I did and she responded apologizing for the inconvenience.

Honest foodie
This was a great find as we were in town for a tournament. Atmosphere is definitely sports bar with more televisions than a Best Buy to watch. Whatever your heart desires. Staff were very friendly and attentive even with the restaurant being busy with a private party going on. Food was great and no issues. I will go back if in the area.

Check my previous reviews, all positive, any place around this long is always good to visit.
The atmosphere is casual and inviting. The servers are experienced, pleasant and very efficient.
The food is a step above the typical bar stuff, lots of choices, and some unique and some old favorites. Example : chicken cordon blue bites w/ gravy, French Dip, steak tidbits, German Pretzel, all make Changing Times One of our frequent stops!
Oh the Southern Tier pumpkin beer with the rim coated in cinnamon sugar is just great at this time of the year!

Had an awesome time at Changing Times in Farmingdale. The food was great — seriously top-notch. Huge shoutout to Janet and Ryann behind the bar — they were amazing. Super friendly, fast, and made the whole experience even better. My buddy flew in from London and couldn’t stop talking about the wings — said they were the best he’s had in America. High praise coming from him. Overall, great vibes, great service, and great food. Will definitely be back.

Met my husband here a month before covid hit.
It’s been almost 6 years and we are engaged to be married. We love coming here every February to celebrate together. So cute
We both agreed to meet for the first time here. We both drove our super old cars. Sat at the bar and drank and talked. By the end we went outside and it started raining. Sat in the car and just talked for hours.
I’ll never forget it.
The BLTs are amazing i love them here sm.

Changing Times is the perfect place to go to on any day (and it stays open late) but the atmosphere on game days is like walking into a party; crowded with the sound of laughter & yells of a bad game call. During the week, it’s quieter but always welcoming.
The servers are quick to take and serve your order. They are attentive when you need them without being a nuisance, and if you have a problem, they will do all they can to fix it to your satisfaction.
The menu has a number of enticing choices; those we know & love (amazing burgers, sweet potato fries, wings), as well as delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches (my fav), unique salads, calamari, quesadillas, and many others, including a Sunday brunch. but it’s not as good as it used to be years ago. Pricing is average unless you’re a big drinker, and if you like to have a few, there is a huge variety of craft beers and drink specials to choose from.
There are over 60 HDTV’s live streaming games, with several outside for warmer weather on the patio. And keep your ears open for when a live band is playing on a Friday night! I miss the pool tables and dart boards from way back.
Changing Times Pub has been around for over 30 years and is well known on (& off of) LI. It’s comforting to know that out of the very few enjoyable places left that we grew up with, this one is still here. Take a trip back in time to when the world was simpler; stop in to see old friends and meet new ones of all ages.

Was in town for work and wanted to watch the Sunday night game. Pulled up Google reviews and decided on this place. It was pretty busy when I pulled in. There were only a couple spots available at the bar. Sat between some regulars and they were welcoming. Ordered the fried pickles and they were very good. I also had the BLT with fries. Also very good. Overall good experience.

Dreary, dark and uncomfortable environment by the service is attentive. Beer options are limited and food menus are large but I chose a loser. I was with a friend and had a pleasant enough time but I can’t recommend this place and probably won’t return.
