What was especially frustrating is that the order status screen showed all orders as “served,” even though food had not been made or delivered. Staff were still telling customers it would be “5 more minutes.” When I asked for a refund, the manager had difficulty locating my order, likely because it had already been marked complete.
I am a former McDonald’s employee, so I recognize what is happening here. Orders are being marked complete early to make speed metrics look better. In reality, this practice slows the kitchen down, removes orders from active screens, and creates confusion for both staff and customers.
This is not the first time this has happened. I’ve also come here in the mornings for iced coffee and waited close to 10 minutes while being the only car in line.
Occasional delays are understandable, but repeatedly marking orders complete before they are actually ready results in poor service and long waits that don’t match the customer volume. This location has become consistently unreliable.
I was completely taken aback by the condition of the place and I only went through the drive through.
Three out of four order windows are not functioning properly and or damaged.
For a billion dollar corporation whose prices one keel going up..
Do better.
We had a frustrating experience at this McDonald’s. It took an unusually long time just to place our order, and then quite a while longer to receive our food. When it finally arrived, several items were missing, which meant heading back to the counter and waiting yet again for help.
To make matters worse, they were out of Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, the one and only item I order at McDonald’s.
The only reason this location is getting two stars is because it was surprisingly clean, possibly because it’s either brand new or recently renovated.
It’s disappointing how far McDonald’s has fallen over the years. There was a time when they set the standard, but now it feels like they’re struggling just to keep up. Unless you’re a die-hard fan, I’d suggest finding a different spot to grab a bite.
I came through the drive thru today and had a really bad experience with one of the managers, Monia. When we asked for a tray (because we had 3 drinks), she immediately caught an attitude and started making faces. When she handed us our food, she left super fast only for us to realize we were missing two fries and one of our drinks was only filled halfway. We waited at the window and even though she came back and saw us, she completely ignored us. Thankfully, another employee eventually helped us, but the whole experience was just rude and unprofessional.
For reference, she had bright ugly neon earrings and red glasses. Definitely not the kind of service you expect from a manager.
The lobby was in a state of disarray, and the manager on duty failed to acknowledge the numerous patrons waiting. The cashier assigned to the front register was frequently absent, and a gentleman was observed receiving the same order twice.
We endured an extended wait of over twenty minutes for a large fry and two beverages. Upon receiving our order, we discovered that the sweet tea was depleted. By the time we had turned around, all of the employees had departed, resulting in additional wait time for the half-and-half we had ordered. The fries weren’t up to par; At that point, we just decided to deal with what we had and cut the losses.
Skip this McDonald’s. It worth driving farther out.
