Delicious food and top-notch service. The tofu parm sandwich was flavorful and perfectly prepared, and the fried tofu bites were a great appetizer. Fries were crisp and well-seasoned. My wife especially enjoyed the Nashville hot tofu sandwich. We’re looking forward to returning to this promising new restaurant.

The food was anything but yummy. I have been a vegetarian for 40 years and it’s the worst food I ever tasted. The tofu texture for chicken was like biting into a block of bland tofu. The crust was good but the tofu texture and flavor was not. I cook vegetarian and if you are going to use tofu as your meat you should know that freezing and thawing and freezing again then thawing again will get you the chicken texture you want. Then it needs to be marinated to give it flavor. The sauce we were given was barely enough for dipping for one of the two pieces of tofu. The vegan macaroni and cheese might have been better with some salt. The Caesar salad was not good and was very dry because again they didn’t give you enough dressing and it wasn’t very tasty. We paid over $50 we feel it was not worth the money we paid for it. We will never go back or recommend this restaurant.

This place is so popular that it was even sold out of lots of food when we came! We tried basically everything available and ALL of it was amazing. The cornbread with the butter, the cheeseburger, and the Mac and cheese were personal favorites. Plus the staff was absolutely over the top sweet and took amazing care of us. Will definitely be coming back every time we visit Richmond! Thank you all so much <3 really felt the Valentine’s Day love at Yummvees :)

Today was my 1st visit to Yummvees and it did not disappoint! I found this place looking for vegan spots for my friend who is vegan, and we both were impressed with the menu variety!! I am not vegan but if I could eat at Yummvees everyday I would definitely become vegan! We both got the baked ziti and it comes with a Cesar salad. It soooo yummmmyy!!!! FLAVORFUL! FILLING! The best baked ziti I’ve ever had! The croutons in the Cesar salad were legit the best I have ever tried from anywhere! They could literally sell those individually and I’d buy them! We will definitely be back to try more. The only reason I didn’t give the atmosphere 5 stars is because it is a takeout spot however you could eat inside at one of the first come cafe tables (total of 3 and) so we did that but it was so cold we never took our coats off which is why I gave it 4/5 for atmosphere. Other than that it really is a must try spot whether you’re vegan or not ! Lastly, the staff was super friendly! Thanks for a great experience Yummvees!

Loved the butternut mac n cheese!! It’s hard to find a good vegan Mac in restaurants so I’ll be back for sure. I got the bacon cheeseburger and that was also great along with the fries. The staff is lovely, love the vibes. Everything on the menu sounds good, I’ll be back to try more.

Nice clean comfy atmosphere with a cute small bar and some patio seating as well. People are really nice and attentive. The cocktails are delicious. I’ve been many times. Love the nachos, everything board and the Rueben. Everything is fresh and hot when it comes out. My favorite (not pictured) were the oyster mushroom tacos but they stopped offering those. Lots of other delicious options. Give Yummvees a try

We were so grateful to find a vegan caterer who could bring something special to both our engagement party and our wedding. The food was such a hit at the engagement party that hiring them again for the big day was a no-brainer!
Tracy is amazing—she truly brought our vision to life. We had a fun and delicious menu with Chic’n sliders, mac and cheese, corndogs, french fries, fried pickles, and veggie kabobs.
Everything was so tasty that we barely had any leftovers! Even some of our non-vegan guests were convinced a few items had to be non-vegan—they were that good.
What made it even more impressive is that Tracy and her team pulled this off while also opening their new storefront. Their dedication and talent really shine through in every bite.
Yummvess will always be our go-to for special events. We can’t recommend them enough!

The way they cook their tofu is phenomenal! Staff is always very friendly, one of my favorite places to go! Food is always delicious, my favorite two things to get are the nachos and the southern fied steak. Pictured is the breakfast scrambler, biscuits and gravy, and chicken and waffles(Brunch only) and then the southern fried steak and tacos. I don’t have a pic of the Mac n cheese but it is also one of my favorites. Per person is about 15-25 each, depending on if you get an appetizer. Will definitely be coming back
