If you’ve ever walked out of a workout craving clean fuel instead of fast food, HOKIBAR might be your new best friend. After my weightlifting class, I needed something light, fresh, and high-protein—so I decided to try this place for the first time. And…? I’m glad I did.
From the moment I walked in, the ingredients looked bright and fresh—like the kind of food that gives you energy, not a food coma. They are known for their poke bowls. Fresh tuna + salmon, citrus ponzu, seaweed salad, edamame, and avocado. However, I’m craving other options. The portions were generous, too.
Their menu selections were extensive— I was a bit overwhelmed as I scroll through all the options. What did I ordered? Check out the pictures to find out!
Tip: Go with their signature bowls if you’re new—easy, delicious, no decision fatigue. And avoid overloading sauces if you want it to stay “clean fuel.” Their salmon is especially good and worth adding.

We got the Party Platter B and boy were we in Sushi Heaven. Large enough to feed 3 extremely hungry people or 4 normal hungry people, it comes with 6 different rolls on a wooden boat.
At the price we paid, it feels like a steal. The fish is fresh, service is fast and friendly. Decor is wholesome and good enough.
I have been enjoying their poke bowls for many Fridays but this is my first time getting and sushi. Suffice to say that while the bowls are good, I see mostly sushi in my future.

Hokibar is the perfect place to grab some sushi, which is what I always get! Very clean environment. You can either order at the kiosk or the counter. They bring your food out to you which I love. The food has wonderful presentation. Fountain drinks are self serve. They even have a patio for when it’s nice. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I was confused when reading the menu, but the cashier was very helpful. I ended up ordering the Kansas City Bowl since she said it was one of their most popular items. The ingredients, from the fish to the vegetables, were all very fresh. I also liked that you could add certain extra toppings without any additional cost. The interior is modern, with pop music playing in the background. They have free instant miso soup, which I had never seen before. It was great, not too salty but also not too bland. Overall, a great place for a healthy and flavorful poke bowl with soup!

Food is absolutely delicious! Portions size are good. We ordered a classic poke bowl, an order of money bags, wakame salad, eel shamini and country club roll speciality roll. The matcha milk tea is also delicious!!!
The only down side is that the wait time is pretty long. We had to wait for 15+ mins for our food to be brought to our table. They are busy, and have many to-go orders. I’m not upset because the food was worth it!! But just be ready to wait. I will be back!

We went to Hokibar for a sushi pick-up order and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The only way to order was through your phone or a self-serve tablet, and there was no way to even get a receipt. We ordered three rolls, two miso soups, and a veggie spring roll. The rolls were completely fallen apart and warm, and the spring roll was cold definitely not what you’d expect. The only thing that was good were the miso soups.
On top of that, we waited 57 minutes at the restaurant for our pick-up order, and it felt like they cared more about getting DoorDash orders out than helping actual customers who were standing inside waiting. When we finally got our food, there was no soy sauce or chopsticks in the bag. We were staying only two minutes away, so there’s no way the sushi warmed up or the spring roll cooled down in transit. Overall, they really missed the mark. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

I ordered some sushi and it was really fresh with good portions. The food came out quickly and the presentation was really nice. The owners were super kind too. Definitely recommend!
